Fruits of my labour

Bloggie friends!

Here is my first crop of strawberries fresh from my potted strawberry plant! Yay!

Er... I didn't mean to advertise the brand of honey! Whoops! LOL!

Charlie says: I help you write your story with my back foot.

Pic taken 23rd June! He is so himself again - playing, jumping, eating, playing, jumping!

Unfortunately Charlie's tested positive for the calici virus. Will see the vets soon to discuss his palliative care. In the meantime, I write, write like the wind!

Have a great week, everyone!

Glad Charlie is feeling like himself again. We know lots of kittehz that live with the calici virus. Sorry to hear he has this, but hope he can be treated for symptoms. Purrs, purrayers, and headbutts.

Pee Ess - the Mommy is very impressed with your crop of berries!

Hope all will be okay with Charlie.
You write like the "wind". Sorry, a bit too much information! :)
See ya,

Congratulations on your first crop of strawberries! I'm thinking home made strawberry shortcake. :-)

Lots of purrs from the boys for Charlie, but as I've previously said, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

And of course HURRAH for "writing like the wind!"

Praying Charlie's treatments will keep him going for many, many more years!

Kitty, so glad Charlie is on the mend...I bet he was grumpy at the vet...if someone was pulling out my teeth, I might be a bit grumpy as well! Poor baby...take good care of him and those strawberries look scrumptious!

Hi Old Kitty - wish I was there munching on those fresh strawberries - just delicious straight off the bush.

Good old Charlie - and so pleased he's feeling better, even if the vet has detected something - which I hope they can help you sort out.

Charlie being better and helping you write strikes me as the best deal ..

Cheers and enjoy this sunny week - Hilary

And those strawberries are awesome!!! My strawberries are tiny!

Happy writing, Old Kitty, happy strawberry eating - happy Monday!

Awww well I hope Charlie's problems aren't too bad and it isn't too expensive to help him. Though a cat is of course always worth it :) Good job with the strawberries too. Every time I try to grow a plant it just dies :(

I'm sorry to hear that Charlie has the calicivirus! I hope he has a mild form that isn't too serious. It says stress to a minimum...i think you and Charlie are good at that! Give Charlie a hug from me!!

I hope you enjoyed your berries!

My strawberries are finished for now but I usually get a second crop in September when it cools down again.

Lovely batch of strawberries!

I've never heard of that virus? I hope he'll be okay. I had a cat who was diagnosed with feline leukemia. I was heartbroken. She lived another 10 or 11 years with no sign of cancer.

So sorry to hear about Charlie! I don't know anything about that virus - but I hope he's not in a lot of pain. I'll be sending good wishes your way. *hugs*

Sure glad Charlie is feeling so much better but sure sorry to hear that he tested positive. Hopefully they can do something to help him not get a full blown episode of the virus. Maybe give him vitamins or something to boost his immune system. We sure are sending tons of purrs to ya Charlie and glad to hear that Mom is writing like crazy. That is great.Take care.

I'm glad Charlie is feeling good now, but so sorry he tested positive for the virus. I hope they give him the treatment he needs so he stays well.

How cool that you're growing your own strawberries! Yay for you, Old Kitty!

Do keep writing like the wind. Since I haven't been blogging lately, I've missed some of Charlie's trials. As others have said, I do hope the doctors can help him! Jen always sends prayers his way.

It's great to be at least halfway back. I've missed seeing familiar faces like yours and esp. your upbeat truly original comments. Hope the summer is being good to you. Hugs from me and Jen!!
