Bloggie friends!
Although it was quite a chilly day yesterday, the sun made such a decent showing my first bumble bee of the year visited me as I pottered around with my pots!
I think it’s a Queen Bee looking for a place to have her bee babies! She lapped up the sun for a while then buzzed off. I hope she found a lovely safe home to start her empire!
Now that’s what I call celebrating Mothering Sunday!
Charlie says: I try to ignore all that buzz.
Have a wonderful week – see y’all next Monday!

Oh how funy to see queen bee sunning herself!
Charlie is a beauty! I love seeing pics of him!
Dear friend. I come over here to your place so I can feel like all's right with the world!
After my email being hacked, I'm just getting back to blogging. Wasn't any fun.
We should all focus on happy things, like you do! BEE happy. Bees are great. We need them. I just don't want to get stung, again, by one!!
Jen says HI and like me sends along lots of XXXX.

Love bees.
Wasps - not so much.
Once last year I looked out an office/work window and saw a cloud around a tree below -- turned out to be a huge swarm of honeybees. A few minutes later they flew away. It was a strange but lovely sign of spring.
Not a huge fan of bees but it is nice to see them around. They do a very useful job with pollinating.
Bees in spring are fine!
Charlie appears to glow in that photo. Maybe he's charging his solar batteries?
Hey, it looks like Charlie was underneath a car during an oil change.
Your bee pic reminded me of the first time I was ever stung. I say a pretty red flower across the street from where I lived and thought my mother would like it.
I ambled up to the bush, looked around for FBI agents, and then plucked it.
The resulting pain in my ear can still be felt to this day. In fact, my ear that day was the size of one of the 7 dwarfs.
I am more like Charlie, hoping bees will buzz off and leave my ears alone.
Your Mom's a bee luffer? Ours, too. She says they are impawtant. Our Mommy also wants to plant a big smoochie on Charlie's back, right on that pretty spot!
Nice that you had some sun! And your first bumble bee! We've been having so much rain, and tonight it's snowing a teeny bit! I like the rain, but I was wishing it away last week when an event had to be canceled.
Who is the little kitty in your profile pic? A friend of Charlie's? :)
I hate bees. About six years ago, some hornets made a nest on the other side of my window. Made sleeping very fun
Spring brings out not only blossoms but bees, Jenn. I'm glad to hear you saw your first one, and it isn't even officially spring as yet! I'm sure Charlies isn't interested in anything he can't eat...lol!
Bee, bee, bumble bee. All outsiders come in free. You know a lot more about bees than I do. It looks like it was a heavenly day.
That's wise to ignore the buzz...you don't wanna get stung!
Charlie, you are such a honey! heh heh heh
Hi Old Kitty .. yes it was a lovely sunny day down here, but chilly as you say - the sun glows again today - bliss! I've seen a bumbling bee a few times ..
Hope you had a happy Mothering Sunday and Charlie was able to be with you for some of it ... Cheers Hilary
Oh, bees and wasps scare me. LOL. As long as she found a home AWAY from yours, it's all good. :-)
Have a lovely week!
It was lovely here too and I spotted my first bumble bee too:) Here comes Spring!
Aw lovely buzzy bee - a sure sign of better things to come.
Hope Charlie doesn't try to catch bees - Indy did once and he ended up with a head like a furry football x
It's glorious to see some Spring weather!
So funny to think that the bees are actually settling down for the winter here. :-)

Oh a buzzy bee is such fun and I just love to chase. Mum says no because I will get stung but hard to resist. You look good sat in your sunny garden.. Hugs GJ xx
Glad that you have beautiful sunshine, so you can enjoy this purrrfect green grass in your backyard.
"Be" ...and BE HAPPY, dear friends,

Luna - WE LOVE LUNA
LOL, I just finished writing a post, To read or not to read. For a second I thought I was on your blog today and had royally screwed up. I came home the other day and my kids swore there was a mouse in our walls. I told them not to worry, that is why we have two cats. :)
Oh, I just love bees. I hope she found a safe spot.
Charlie is so awesome! We had a nice warm weekend, and I saw lots of little worker bees scouting all over the ground for something... a home, maybe? Flowers? It was hard to tell, but we gave them plenty of room! :D Happy spring!
Charlie it looks like you were loving those warm sun beams. We hope the bee found a perfect place for her eggs.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Happy belated Mother's Day to your Mum Charlie! It was meant to bee warm fur sure!
I haven't seen any bees yet but we had mosquitoes the other day.
I'm looking forward to doing some gardening soon, too.
Hope you have a lovely week!
I've always wanted a pet bee. But for some reason Glogirly just won't let them inside.
: ) Katie
Charley, you are just the best. We have tons of those bees around our house right now. They must have a home not far away. They love all the blossoms on the trees and blueberry bushes.
Buzz buzz buzz!!!
Oh it's lovely to see bees, buds on the trees, and all other signs of Spring! x
I've seen a few bumble bees crashing into my window. Spring's nearly here.
To "bee", obvious!
Well, there's a sign of spring! :)
Buzz. Buzz. Hope you have a bee-autiful week!
What a lovely bee! I hope it has lots of babies and pollinates lots of flowers.
That's great; haven't seen a bee yet this year. I did see a couple of butterflies though.
I'd like to invite the bees inside to play. Glogirly is not fond of the idea though.
: ) Katie
Ha! A bee the size of an elephant came into the house the other day. Shoulda seen me try to coax it outside again. Lol! Maybe it was a good thing you didn't see it ;)
Hopefully she found a great place for her empire--just not in your home. :D
Charlie
Momma was out photographing flowers and the bumbles kept buzzing her head. Tee hee.

Thats a really big bee. Charlie looks glowing!
dreamweaver
heard they make the best honey, but so little of it, it's not even worth looking for... but, should you find any, gobble it down... trying not to get stung....
Oh I also hope the Queen Bee got a nice safe place to start her mothereing career!
Adorable Charlie.
Riya
I've always fancied having a bee hive and having my own honey...I love spring
Wow, how cool! I think bees are fascinating! :)
Cool to see a Queen Bee! Beautiful kitty : ) I'm a new follower here, found you through The Write Game. Have a great night! ~ Jess

I love bumble bees. We get a lot of them here in the spring. We got lucky on Sunday, the weather was gorgeous; sunny and warm, 22C. It was perfect for the St. Patty's parade. And at night, we were able to see Jupiter and Venus. Lovely Sunday indeed. Hope you get warm weather soon. Charlie's looking handsome as always ;)
That is one fluffy Bee :)
That is one big dott on Charlie :)
Hey, I rhymed :)
WIIW = "what is it Wednesday"
Cute title! :)
Charlie looks like he's enjoying the sun, too.
Good Meowning darling. xoxoxox
The indifference in cats never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for sharing the picture, and for stopping by to say hi on my blog tour!
Haven't seen any bees yet, but a very huge black spider visited me yesterday--tried not to freak out in front of the kids! Wish Charlie had been here to take care of things;).
Just as long as the bees stay away from the house!
Charlie looks stoic!
Aha, BEEhave yourself! And Charlie you are so gosh darn cute!
And too think my mum who lives in Vancouver, gets two 'Mother's Day' wishes in one year. Quite right too...
See ya
x
Enjoy the sun!
Charlie look so very handsome

The sight and sound of bees is a lovely reminder that summer's on the way.
Charlie ignoring the buzz. . . He always makes me giggle. Yea, Charlie. And yea for spring! All the flowers and critters waking up and moving around. It's wonderful. Happy spring!
From Charlie, "I'm too sexy for your bees."
That's sure some shot of a bumble bee. Good thing Charlie is keeping his distance.
Your plant pottering sounds like a fun time, Old Kitty.

Awh bee utiful!
Since we had our extension built bees fly into the conservatory confused as though we've disrupted their flight path!
Charlie's so laid back LOL!
love the big flower and your big heart my sweet kitty! you are a poem and a prayer...
Wow, that is a pretty big bee! They are very important, so we're always glad to see them around our house. :)
Thats one fine bee:) Hope you'd a great weekend! (not too bzzy!)
YAY for bees! Hopefully she will keep all your flowers and plants pretty!
I hope the buzzing bee ignores Charlie!
Has it warmed up yet? It was in the 80s today and will be in the 80s (even warmer) tomorrow. Flowers have begun blooming on trees. It's so much earlier than usual.
Whether tis nobler in the mind to suffers the buzzings and zings of outrageous mommy bees, or just to ignores them...
Charlie has it right!
Love to bof of you.
Cute Bee! I hope it doesn't end up stinging Charlie!
It's a good sign of summer on it's way.
Isn't it great when the sun works its magic?!
Glimpses of spring are such a blessing! My kitty, white like yours, with gray spots and a gray tail and a sweet little black nose sits by the screen door and watches the chipmunks. No bees yet, but it is so warm I am sure they are out there.
I had a hive of bees that lived in barn last year. I needed to move some lumber, but as I picked up the bottom board, they got all fussy. So, I let the lumber stay until winter.
Hello OC! I found my way to your blog without my GPS! Yay! You have the best sense of humor! Sounds like you had a wonderful day outside, despite it being chilly.
I came across 'Mothering Sunday' on Hilary's blog. We don't have that separate from Mother's Day. Lovely pictures.
Bees are fun to see buzzing around. It's a wonder how their fat little bodies do it. : )
Beautiful kitty! My first cat was named Charlie.
I have not seen any bees yet but I have purple crocuses blooming next to my doorstep :)
Cats are so good at ignoring what isn't important.
I run from bees. I hope her hive isn't too close to you.
Have a great weekend.
Seeing that beautiful spot on that beautiful white as a swan feather kitty body just makes mommy swoon! xoxoxoxo
Charlie, I hate to say this, but it looks more like a bat to me than a queen bee!
xxoo

We haven't seen bees yet! But spring is on the way :)
I love bees! So does DeDe, but she tries to eat them. *sighs and rolls eyes*
I don't really like bees. Don't know if it's just me or if there's other people out there: I hate bugs of all types. I'm a freak show then they come close.
www.modernworld4.blogspot.com
I run from bee's myself. But, I know spring is coming when I see them.
........dhole
How nice of the bee to visit to announce that spring is here to stay! Lovely post!
Charlie enjoy the sun...

Hi!!
I love the bees, so bumbly and cute! I saw a huge one in the garden centre yesterday and it made me feel happy and Springtimey.
Today I saw my first Ladybird of the season too. Happy times.

And you, Charlie..you looks so zen ....peace : )

I'm going to try to get over here to visit you earlier next week :)
What a nice sign up Spring. When I see bees I think honey. When I see wasps- I think please don't sting me! :)
