Mum's the word and Judi-Bug!

There was a fabulous meteorite shower all over the UK at the weekend and I missed it.

LOL!

So here instead is the best bit of a conversation I overheard on my commute to work yesterday illustrating why mums are just brilliant!

Mum of teenage girl: You’re not overweight, you’re underheight. If you were 6 feet 10 you’d be normal weight.
:-)

Speaking of mums – today me and Charlie are waving a big hello to wonderful mum Judi-bug of SASS. She’s just had a biopsy and we have everything crossed for good news.

She gave Charlie such a wonderful hat to wear and today we honour her by showing it off here again.

Charlie says: I enjoy the spring sun on next door neighbour's mat.

Pic taken last Saturday when it was sunny and warm. Sunday was wet and windy and just horrible!

Happy Spring everyone!

Spring?! We won't see any signs of spring till the end of May if we're lucky ;) Wishing Judi-Bug good results on her biopsy. Sending good vibes her way. Charlie looks magnificent in that hat. He's such a stud ;)

Charlie looks good in hats! He should wear more.
We were rainy and cold all weekend. But thankful that was all after what those storms did in the midwest on Friday.

Somehow I don't think that underheight comment made the poor girl feel any better!

I would've LOVED to have seen a meteorite show! I've only caught glimpses of the odd sky rock now and then. A whole slew of them would be grand.

Best of luck and hope to Judi-bug. And may Charlie have lots more days of warm sunshine.

I saw nothing of the meteorite shower either!
Sending positive thoughts and good wishes to Judi-bug.
I love Charlie's hat. There is something so special about a cat soaking up the sun - that's just as it should be.
Happy Spring - it must be soon mustn't it? x

Hi Old Kitty .. I know I missed it too - it was cloudy down here the weekend before .. for another sky phenomenon .. and this weekend I went to sleep!

Isn't that a brilliant reply .. hope they laughed too ..

Charlie looks comfortable - thinking of days to come .. and yes - yesterday was foul - but we do need the rain rather desperately.

Happy Spring to you too ... cheers Hilary

You have daffodils??? Charlie looks satisfied on his spring perch. Happy almost springtime!

If I were 5' 6" instead of 5' 3", my weight would be perfect!

We loved seeing Charlie again in his spiffy cap - very much the best sort of cat about town.
We are purring and purraying hard for Judi too.
We love the conversation you heard and the girl must have been very heavy to need to grow that tall to be an acceptable weight - perhaps they could stretch her like a piece of elastic!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

Ahh! I love Charlie. That's how I feel today with the sun out and snow on the ground. I want to soak, but it's darn chilly! :D

Yay for Mums! At first I thought you meant chrysanthemums, which are also wonderful. But "moms" like the one you quoted are the best~ <3

(I miss those meteor showers all the time, too... *snort*)

How disappointing to miss a meteor shower. You'll have to live long enough to see the next one, my friend!

A wave from Jen and I'm throwing another hat to Charlie. Don't think it can compete with this hat, though!
