Hoaxin on Bora Bora

Hands up those who fell for the hoax news item yesterday that reported how users of Internet Explorer have lower IQs!

*Me - waving both my arms in the air, like I just don’t care”! LOL!

Well of course I believed it – the BBC reported it!! - cos I’m so gullible and I do prefer IE to Firefox and others.

Come to think of it, maybe there is some truth in this, seeing how I got completely and utterly hoaxed!

Oh well! LOL!

Charlie says: I should be in Bora-Bora!

The fabulous Goodness Gracie is hosting a Bora Bora Day – a day where pets leave their humans behind and chill out on Bora Bora!

Unfortunately I don’t have photoshop or photoshopping skills so poor Charlie will just have to dream on! LOL!

Yay for more August silliness! It's such fun!

The Green eyed monster

Bloggie friends!

There I was standing in a crowded tube train carriage when this couple gets on.

The man says to me “oh wow - such long lovely hair” to which I automatically reply “thank you” because I’m polite only for the man’s partner to say something to him.

I would repeat what she said here, except she spoke in French. I only know she was unhappy because much as I think the French language is sexy – there was nothing remotely sensual with the way they spoke at each other.

True story.

Charlie says: Green is the colour of grass.

Happy Independence Day to all my fantastic American bloggie friends!

I'm off-line for most of today but I promise to catch up with y’all throughout the week.

Yay!

Practical Wanderlust

Sweet bloggie friends - thank you so so so so much for all your witty and comforting comments about my work shenanigans!

I have to add that in times like yesterday, I always recite this mantra:

“Ignore Adversity”

Taken from "Too Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar" – lesson no.2 to true Queenliness.

Now let's talk travelling!

One day I will find the courage to plan a weekend away – maybe to a quiet and rural retreat or maybe to a wild and unspoilt place by the sea or if I’m really adventurous to somewhere exciting like NYC. I always wanted to go there!

Oh but what shall I do about Charlie?

Here’s one solution:

A pet backpack has been invented for such a purpose: found here!

Charlie says: I prefer this, thankee very muchee!

Awww, I don't think I'll be going anywhere away from Charlie any time soon! I think I'll stick to travelling in my dreams and imagination! That's what they're there for.

Have a world is your oyster Friday everyone!
