Waiter, there's a cat in my coffee!

Bloggie friends!

Best news of the past week? London MAY be getting a Cat Cafe!!

I mean cats + aspiring writers = inspiration and a great cup of catpuccino! Yay!

Maybe even Charlie and The Gumster may apply for jobs there! I think they'll look super cute in waiter outfits!

The Gumster says: I blend into the background.

Charlie says: No you don't.

But seriously - this particular Cafe has a serious message and will give shelter cats a place to stay and roam as free as possible! A win win situation! But maybe not for woofies. Ahem.

I promise to catch up with all your gorgeous wonderful lovely blogs asap but do forgive me if I slacken a little! Work is super busy! Have a great week!

The shelter sounds like a great place!
And what Gumster?

That is some wonderful stealth skills there, and excellent news about the cat cafe. I wonder if it will function like an actual Japanese cat cafe though, where people go to spend time with cats.

Best. Idea. Ever.

Sounds like a great coffee house. You Brits have all the luck :)

A cafe to help cats. Lovely! London has so many amazing places. No worries about blogging--work takes precedence. Best of luck with it! <3

Oh My Goodness, a cat cafe. I wonder if that means you can bring your cat there but cat's don't like to travel, do they? I forgot that cat's are home bodies. Mine won't go outside yet.
The pictures are cute. Gummie hiding behind the flower pot but Charlie isn't shy. It looks like you have buds on your plants in the pots. Getting to be that time again.
Love, Manzie

May your work ease up on you. For me, I am facing 11 days in a row as a rare blood courier! Whew!

Love the news about the cat cafe and Charlie looks as bemused and aloof as ever. :-)

What a lovely idea for a cafe! The article is so inspiring I can only hope more cat/ pet cafes pop up everywhere. And if this helps to place shelter cats into homes, all the better.

I hope your job doesn't overwork you this week, Kitty darling.

I love the idea of a cat café. It would be fabulous if the idea would catch on in our region too. :-)

Have a great week...I hope busy doesn't mean chaotic and stressful.

A cat café in London?! What great news! Let us know when it's there and I'll hop onto the Eurostar immediately.

What a great idea. In Germany people can take their dogsnin restaurants.

Hart Johnson said...

Oh, I LOVE that idea! I wonder if that's legal in the states. I know some businesses have a pet, but I don't think it's allowed if they serve food. Still, yes... writers and cats and coffee...

Theresa Milstein said...

A cat cafe sounds cute.

We have so much snow here. Where's your snow???

Charlie and Gumpster seem happy without their own cafe.

Good luck during your busy week.

Oh that's so cool--I have heard of cat cafes before. I love the photos of Gumtree and Charlie! Gumtree has to work on his hiding skills!

Cat Cafe sounds fantastic! I wish I could. I would just need to get a cat... and move to where you live...and allergy medication.

Well, have lots of fun!

Wow cat cafe! It will be very nice especially for shelter kitties if they are hired! I am sure Charlie and Gumtree will look super cute in waiter outfits :-)

Okay, a 'Catfeteria'! Seriously, a good idea behind it all. Even Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar and yes, the next 'Paw Minister' of Britain, concurs.

All the best,

The kitties look entirely too cute, of course.

We've got a cafe here close to home that caters to pet people. It's a cafe, but mostly for pet supplies and such. Four legged critters are more than welcome inside...

What an interesting concept! It reminds me of the restaurants in Saint Lucia with resident cats - it's the norm there, not so much here.

Hope work isn't too crazy busy for too long!

The cat cafe sounds like it would be a great place for cat lovers who don't have their own pet.

Samantha Vérant said...

Ah, ah, ah! I can just imagine the cat fights... if people brought their own cats in! It is, however, a great idea.

I think cat cafes are a great idea. That article is right, there are many people who are unable to have pets. This seems like a solution.

The cat cafe sounds wonderful! Sorry I haven't been around much, lately...I'm in the final phase of getting my manuscript ready for submission. :)

I could not be happier to read this and I only wish there were more and more of this type of cafe. Win-win indeed. How wonderful.

We need one of those cafes in our neighborhood. Can it be franchised? Ask Charlie and see what he says.

A cat cafe is an interesting idea--I've never heard of them before. It sounds like it could be a great boon for cats who would otherwise be stuck in cages or euthanized.

Wow! I live in a rural area in the US- we don't have fancy things like cat cafes. We would be lucky just to have a cafe! We do have an animal shelter, though, and lots of animal lovers in our area. Glad to hear those aristocats in London will be well taken care of.

Bet you'll be in there every day Kitty if you get chance, and Charlie and Gumster of course.

Bet you and Charlie and Gumster will be in there as often as you can Kitty. Don't work too hard.
