Toying about

Thank you lovely bloggie friends for your sweet comments about my haiku yesterday - I really appreciate them! Thank you. You are all just so fabulous! I hugged a tree today in all your honours. Oh yes I did!
**************************************************

And now dear bloggie friends, I'm feeling quite excited! Why? I shall be seeing Toy Story 3! In a Cinema! In glorious 3D! I have the ticket! Hoooray!!

I've heard nothing but good things about this film and all the reviews I've read say it's guaranteed to make grown beefy men cry. If that's the case then I'm a gonner!

Remember Toy Story 2? This is the scene that had me blubbing into my tissue like a great big blubbing baby and traumatised me for a long time after.

Oh to be discarded because we have passed our sell by date. I shall be packing my Man Size tissues today.

Charlie says: I love my toys! I hug them like so and never let go!

Have a thoroughly modern Millie Thursday, everyone!

Hello Kitty! Tommy LOVED Toy Story 3, but she was too wussy to try the 3D glasses. Some fear of getting dizzy, hitting her head on the seat above and then fall into her own pile of spilled popcorn and nobody would notice her until Toy Story was done...so do please tell ME (not my human Tommy) how the 3D delighted.....!

Ps. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'll try to do better! :)

Hello! I watched Toyy Story 3 3D with my daughter Rafaela and I assure to you: the ending is very happy for the human characters and toys! I loved more than Toy Story 2.
Have fun!
Ps.: Sorry my bad english!

Enjoy Toy Story 3 in 3D. Let us know how it is. (And if you need the Man Size tissues.)

I don't think I saw Toy Story 2. I've seen the first one many, many times.

I liked Alice in Wonderland in 3D.

I agree with Charlie, besides, Sister Zoe would let anyone take her toy bed toys!

I LOVED Toy Story 3! We took our youngest son who is part of the "Toy Story Generation"-- the first one came out while he was starting school, and the last one comes out when he graduates high school and moves on with his life, just like the boy ANDY.

Precious picture of Charlie!

I haven't seen TS 3 yet, but I know I'll blubber. I cry at the simplest things...

Have fun at the movies. I saw part of it, but it is such an emotional movie that my three year old and 11 month old couldn't sit through it. In fact the 3 year old burst into tears, howling at a sad scene. You won't be as loud as him with your crying, I'm sure.... :o)

And I too loved your haiku! So visual!

The other Toy Story movies are fun.
But I didn't see either as a tear jerker.

Oh Charlie, you look so cute in that tube. That is a great place to play. We love that picture.
Lucky Mom gets to go to that great sounding movie. Good for her. We can't wait to get the report about it. Have a great day.

Hope you enjoy Toy Story 3 - make sure you mop your eyes gently we don't want you emerging with mascara runs down to your chin!!

Charlie we love your cube - you must be very agile to get different parts of you coming out of the sides - do you do cat yoga?

I really enjoyed the first two movies, haven't seen the third. I hope it surpasses your expectations! :-)

Charlie, what a great cube you have! We love that photo; you look like you're having quite the time in there. LOL.

Yes, very sad that so many animals and humans get "dumped" because they are thought to have passed their sell by date. Our mama is putting Toy Story 3 on her list for when it comes out in DVD.

MOL....that is such a precious pic of Charlie!!!!!!! We love you two!!!

The new 3D technology is amazing. I saw AVATAR three times due mostly to the stunning visuals.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND was made even more enjoyable by it.

I believe you will love TOY STORY 3

Oh, and you were right in your comment on my blog : Mark Twain's attacker was, indeed, a zombie Little Orphan Annie. A tongue in cheek moment for me.

And to honor your great haiku from yesterday, here is one that I wrote for my historical fantasy, RITES OF PASSAGE :

Dreams drift like clouds,
I reach to touch the moon,
I grasp but empty night.

Have a great week's end. Roland

Love that photo of Charlie. :)

Have a great time at the movie--I loved the first Toy Story, but didn't manage to see any more (kids were the wrong age for the 2nd, I think--now they are old enough they can go again (meaning for a while it was 'baby stuff, but now they don't need to act that way), but they no longer want to go WITH ME)

That is the BEST picture of Charlie! Cats can be so nuts.

Oh that picture of Charlie is one of my favorite! That's hilarious!

I loved Toy Story 3. Hope you do too!

Like Talli, I've heard good things about this movie - I want to see it too!

That's a brilliant photo of Charlie!
I can't wait to see Toy Story 3 - I know three man who've cried at it so far! xx

Oh that is such a hilarious picture of Charile! I love it!

And Toy Story 3 totally looks good - but I never see movies at the theater because of the whole crying thing - I hate to do it in public because I cry so easily, and it is so hard to stop! So don't tell too much about it - because I won't see it til it is out on DVD at my house!

And I saw your comment about the Time Travel Thursday post - and yes, good job - that is Virgil in the picture. It is so funny because Virgil is a lot smaller than Barney now! But I am impressed you got it right - even I have gotten them mixed up sometimes (I almost want to go over now and be sure I was correct!)
