Meet Jim.
Jim likes making pancakes for his 3 year old daughter.
But not just any ol pancake like how I make them (flat and round-ish and batter coloured).
He makes them look like these:

What a Dad!
And if you want to know how he does these works of wonder - go here for more pics and how to videos.
And yes that's a "bling" pancake necklace he's wearing aroung his neck.
Charlie says: This is not a pancake - it's an abomination!
May you all have a joyous Wednesday!

Oh man! I want some pancakes like this! Mine come out as abstract art.
Mommy says: Amazing, but pancakes must be fluffy amorphous blobs, browned on one side and burnt on the other, preferably with blueberries.
The Baby eats pancakes in any form!
wowwwwwwwww really a wonder!!!
Thanks for sharing about Jim... We like to know how he done all the super wonder pancake!
~huigs~
Are those edible?
I feel so inadequate! My own amorphous blobs may be tasty, but lack the wow factor.
Those are amazing pancakes!
People who create food that looks this good make me look bad. My pancakes are only moderately round. Roundish.
Charlie looks like he has a pretty sweet set up. My old cat had one of those but she preferred to use her claws on my couch. And under my bed.
Cool pancakes! And I thought I was doing good to put the little Mickey Mouse ears on them. :)
Ok, those are the coolest looking pancake pictures I have ever seen. Even better then the bunny with a pancake on its head. Until now that was the coolest pancake picture I had seen.
And well, the cats think that the abomination looks pretty fun to whap around!!
Charlie, what is that you are staring at with such displeasure?
Lovely pancakes!
Wow I am impressed with these pancakes.
Now, I'm feeling inadequate, nothing like my pancakes, but I'm sure they all taste the same.
What a genius this man is!!! And thank you for the link to the site. I have always wanted to be creative with pancakes but never figured out how.(Till now)
It would be a shame to eat that beautiful giraffe!
Lovely! Okay except for the green one. That's alittle ooky. :)
Mama wouldn't have the patience to make them pancakes and I would take big bites out of them hehe
Charlie you look like your playing a little game there!

Wow, what a dad. I've never seen pancake art before. It almost would be a shame to eat them. I wonder what he does for a living! Sculpture? Chef? Cake-decorator?
Give Charlie a big smooch from me; he looks terrific!
Wouldn't the pancake crane be rather cold? For me pancakes come out of the pan, onto the plate, covered in sugary goo and eaten double quick. If I'd have had to wait for them to be constructed into a crane I think I would have been a bit grumpy as a small child!
Those sure are fancy pancakes but they look yummy too. Jim is quite the artist.
Charlie you are looking good playing with your toy. You and your Mom have a wonderful day.
What does he do with the syrup? Hello Charlie, you're looking mighty and handsome today!
Cripes!
And
Cripes! (or should that be crepes?)
Those pancakes are so cool!!
Too cute to eat!
Hi Charlie - you are looking very floofy today and very cuddly. We've not tried pancakes yet we'll have to get Mum to make some for us.
Just too pretty to put into my mouth! :)
What a sweet, wonderful daddy!
Charlie has wheat intolerance? Therefore no like pancakes?
aww c'mon, charlie, they're NEAT ;) lol
He's talented and it's a work of art, but it's really all about the taste!...We love Charlie=kisses sweetie!...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
That is amazing! I bet breakfast is the best part of his family's day.
That's amazing! I'm happy if I can make them relatively round and not too warped looking!
Incredible. This man has a lot of time on his hands!
These pancakes are works of art. And make mine look boring and insipid. Still they get grabbed up, so I refuse to feel inadequate today. :)
Cooool!! He could use some Dreamies as buttons too.
Muttie says thanks for commenting on her column. She really appreciates it.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and offering me your thoughts on Stripes. It's been a hard week, but I knew I could count on you to say something special.
Charlie looks like he's enjoying his toys. :)
Pancake art! Who knew? Those are very cool pancakes but I couldn't eat them as I'd want to just look at them! :)
Hi Charlie
What did you think of those pancakes?
We couldn't believe someone could make animals out of pancakes!

Jim's pancakes - how creative. Brightened my day.
That scratch post looks almost edible.
Thanks for checking out Brigid's guest post on my blog, Write Olive. Love these pancakes, they are works of art! Almost too good to eat, but not quite:)
Well of course Charlie wouldn't like those pancakes - he's much too sophisticated to eat something shaped like a giraffe. He's a cat, not a kid:)
Oh wow - I wish I could make pancakes like that!!!
That man is a pancaking making genius!
I love the turtle. No point in me attempting to imitate these - pancakes are eaten straight from the pan in my house!
Oh my, I love those cute pancakes! I will definitely check out the videos --thaks for the link!
We'd like to see teh day Jan makes us pancakes. You'd think she'd share. Bet that dad would share his pancakes with his kitty or woofy -- if he has one.
