A tail of two halves

There is only one reason why I placed the cheap synthetic pink/cerise/magenta duvet cover over my 100% cotton Laura Ashley bedlinen.

It's a reason Charlie has not quite grasped.

He took one sniff and decided which half was more suited to him. And it wasn't the half I'd hoped for.

Anyway!

I'm trying to take a pronk and get my act together to try and enter the Guide to Literary Agents Dear Lucky Agent contest: Sci Fi and Fantasy. I think I have to mention this contest twice. :-)

Now all I have to do is submit something! LOL! Anyone else entering this? Thanks to Theresa Milstein for highlighting this competition.

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Charlie has good taste and knows quality. There's no way around that. I guess you are relegated to the side with the inexpensive duvet cover. LOL.

Oh, do enter the contest! Fingers crossed for your creative muse.

I remember reading about the contest on Theresa's blog and thinking I really needed to look into that, and then promptly forgetting. Thanks for the reminder!

ah yes its not the desired result, but cats have taste and standards (although I'm rather partial to pink myself). My ginger cat's favourite spot is usually on the freshly laundered and folded clothes and black items are her favourite!

good luck with the competition

Now, surely you know Cats hate synthetics, and it has nothing to do with going green and all that cr@p.
It's the static, baby. No Cat likes to be all staticky and shock Himself!
Plus, Laura Ashley is just so much more classy.

We think all Charlie does is stretch out everywhere!!...Charlie has excellent taste; only the best for that wonderful boy!...Good luck writing your submission for the contest...kisses sweet Charlie...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki

You're welcome.

I'm so excited you're thinking of entering! Let me know if you do. Good luck!

I have a cheap cover on my entire comforter for the same reason. Kitties shed a lot, don't they? Just because Charlie's tail looks like a duster, doesn't make it so.

Why lay on the pink side when Laura Ashley is so close!!!!
Happy Tuesday!

Charlie is my BFF now!

My dog, who is the very definition of d-i-v-a, never learned the difference between her side and everyone else's side. *sigh*

Best wishes for the contest!!

Charlie, are you trying to look invisible blending in the bedlinen?

I found your blog linked at Sharon Mayhew's and had to come over and say hello. Great blog!

And good luck on the contest! Theresa is a peach and wealth of information.

You know, I made a special runner to go across the bottom of my bed for Stripes. He slept on it, unless I was in bed and then he snuggled me. Ginger (daughter's cat) has been so sad since Stripes left us, but she doesn't lay on the bed runner. She lays on my crunch bench and looks at me...

It's just like how our rich blue curtains are now the colour of my furs- which is silver, btw. I think the house looks better this way. Meowhahahahaha!

Good luch with the competition!

Charlie does understand the quallity! MOL!

There is no clean (not clawed) fabric in my house!!
Our mommy gave up long ago.

Charlie must have decided the synthetic cover was not good enough for his beautiful furs - so there you have it in a nut shell - cats first, servants second!!

What did you expect? Charlie has excellent taste.

Charlie certainly has good taste like the mom! :)

Anyway!

Lucky, 12 other furry ones and one not so furry (but can be quite hairy in certain areas!) send lots of good luck in your upcoming "pronk" and write!

We love ya alot!! Muaks!

Good luck with competition!

Cats are so funny about textures, aren't they? My ex-cat used to love newspaper.

Hi to Charlie!

Once they get attached to a peace of bedding or whatever it is then that's it... and there's no accounting for taste - the blanket ours couldn't be moved from was the oldest blanket in the house!

He'll never forgive you if that duvet cover leaves the house though :)

Oh Charlie, you are like all other cats in the world. What ever we want you to do, you do the opposite.
Good luck to your Mom on this contest. She is going to win you know.
Have a very fine day.

That is how it always is with cats - you want them to go one place and not another so they of course pick the part you don't want!!

Good luck with the contest!!
