It's Sunday, it's sunny, let's all go to Papua New Guinea and see what a male Superb Bird of Paradise needs to do to go a woo-ing ...
The clip itself is from the BBC's Planet Earth and the original narrated by the dulcet tones of Sir David Attenborough, can be found here.
Have a loving Sunday everyone.
Charlie says: this is my own special dance - the lolling about. Preferably on dirt.
Charlie and I are sending our hugs and purrs to Bin and Lucky. Lucky isn't feeling too well after his surgery to repair his decapitated tail stump. We hope he'll pull through. Please pull through. xx

Oh that video! I saw a lot of this in the 70's at the disco.
Give that Charlie a pet for me!!!
A "decapitated tail stump." Ouch. What happened, did he upset one of the cats?

Thanks for sharing the video ;)
What a silly video but a good one. Charlie, your tummy is terrific. We hadn't heard that Lucky was sick. We will go right over and visit. WE have been having computer problems.
Take care and have a wonderful Sunday.
We have a couple of birds of paradise in Oz. Both called Rifle-Birds. I have seen a couple in the flesh, but alas not dancing.

What an amazing bird, I have never seen anything like it before. If I were the female bird I think I'd be downright hypnotised by it.

Have a great eclair-filled weekend, Old Kitty!
We love those Birds of Paradise, we don't get anything nearly that exciting here in the UK. FAZ
