Worra lorra words and PRESSIES

"We called Mrs Knight "Dragon Lady". She’d swat you like a fly for the slightest misdeed. I went to her funeral anyway to thank her for making me the teacher I am now"

The End

Today's words for the 33 word micro story are Knight, Dragon, Fly. Thank you Ellie!

Charlie says: No time to read your silly story cos unlike you, I WON something!! And here are my PRIZES from lovely Deborah of Amazing Animal Lovers blog! Thank you Deborah! I am waiting for the human to stop counting the words to her story and open up my pressies!

And Thank you wonderful bloggie friends for your suggestions as to what the plant might be! I've taken down names (you KNOW who you are). I meant I've taken down suggested plant names. :-)

Hopefully it'll bloom and I can check!

Have a wicked Wednesday everyone!

Very clever use of those unusual words! Good job, Old Kitty.

Charlie looks like he is positively smiling at that package full of goodies.

I'm glad you now know what that impending flower will be as I didn't have a clue when I looked at your photo. Hope it's pretty when it blooms!

I like how you didn't go for the obvious, medieval route. A firm but memorable teacher.

And congrats to you and Charlie for winning the loot!

Love your little story! Very nice! And fun to win some stuff!

On a LIST eh? Well I suppose since it isn't a list that will get me arrested, I'm alright with that! *snort*

Do not buy the book yet-my prize box is international-although if you win-I may hold the book ransom for a good cup of tea and some McCleans toothpaste-do not laugh it is the only paste I use and I import it from England-I grew up with it and used to stock up when I went home to Canada-but now it is not sold anywhere in N. America. Strange I know-my husband is convinced I was raised in a British boarding school-I could only wish-scones and tea all day-and real tea at that. I will pull a name later tonight.

I love your story!! Wonderful!

Oh, and according to word verification that plant might also be from the Activolo family.

Oh, no, wait, I think that might be the name of the male vitamin I accidently took last night.

Hi Charlie!
Now for those prezzies!

I love this, Old Kitty! The funny thing is, at the school where I was teaching, there was a teacher called Mrs Knight! And she was a Dragon Lady!

I love the ending because you're left with the question: what kind of teacher did Mrs Knight make the narrator?

Wonderful!

What an original take on the words, and not going for the obvious at all. A great microfiction.

Wow. All those pressies. Lucky Charlie, and you x

Great story - it's hard to do short stories especially 33 words short. Well done Charlie, you funny boy x

Wow what a great prize box that is Charlie - it looks like it has a lot of super fun stuff!

And we loved your story - our mom's mind automatically went to the knight in shining armor fighting a dragon route when we saw those words and we think it is so cool that you went a totally different way!
