Snack time

For Mother's Day this year, I would have liked to think that if Charlie were able to he would have sent me a card with this sentiment:

Roses are Red
Mice are Black

Happy Mother's Day, Mom
Now Go Make Me a Snack!

(taken from Petside's printable cards for Mother's day)

Can't wait to see what he has in store for his fictitious dad's day tomorrow!

Charlie says: Easy - I just change mom to dad! Now where are my snacks?

Esme of Chocolate and Croissants is hosting a Cat Scratcher Giveaway for June Adopt-a-Pet-month in the US. All you have to do is recommend an animal shelter you'd like her to donate one of these lovely things to. Thank you.

Have a super Saturday everyone!

Surely Charlie had a Dad at some point...like at the VERY beginning?

Oh well, I think Cats only view us in terms of our thumbs and not fleshy appendages...or lack thereof!

It's all about the food with our fur kids. Heh. Come to think of it, it's all about food for me too!

I love Charlie's roll and stretch; great pose!

Happy Saturday. :-)

Charlie - do you think your mum could do us a snack while she's doing yours. Our mum is pushing the carpet monster round and ignoring the fact we're dying of hunger.
Have a good weekend.

Now go make me a snack...haha. The secret to every great relationship is the freedom to being able to utter such a phrase.

Have a great weekend!

Happy Saturday, OLd Kitty! I love your photo of Charlie today. Now that's the life!

Hope you're having a great weekend and that you're enjoying the frigid autumnal weather, ha!

Charlie looks like the least stressed kitty I've ever seen. He looks well-fed to, unless it's all that fur!

What would your card say to him?

Great Poem. We cats do rule, "now go fix us a snack" That is said all day long here.
We also love that picture of Charlie. Good idea to switch from Mother's day to Father's day and hopefully get more snacks.
Have a fine week end.

Charlie, You're so smart. We like your idea of a card. We'll have to try it with Jan.
