As my writing course winds down, the itch to continue learning something burns bright and breezy within me!
And I think I found my ideal course courtesy of South Thames College.
Fantastic bloggie friends, the course that has caught my restless eye is wonderfully entitled:
"Sexy Heels in the City : a six-week class in how to walk in high heels”
In this course I will learn the following: the main aspects to wearing killer heels successfully are foot exercises, adopting Alexander techniques for good posture, relaxing knees and working towards achieving a good balance.
Unfortunately it’s now finished.
But if such a thing ever crops up again, I shall be first in the queue.
I am of course being entirely fictitious.
The course however hasn’t been.
Charlie says: You’ll need a PhD to walk in these!
Have a balanced Friday everyone!

Hey Charlie, be careful if you put those things on...T.G.I.F....toes go in first!
Cute shoes there, Charlie!
You are so clever! I just love your posts. Are you putting together a book of humor? You should!!! Hello to Charlie, as ever, and Jen says hi. I finally after a week got a new post written. Come on over...
Ooooh, I need that course. Gonna check that out! : )
Wow what a crazy idea for a class - especially if they got credits for it. And Charlie those don't look too bad - we have seen much worse around lately.
When I read the title, I knew this post was about your shoe fetish!!...It sounds like the perfect class for you Jenn; have you ever written about your love of shoes?...That would be a fun article!...Kisses to handsome Charlie=we LOVE his gorgeous floofy furs!...Happy Friday sweet friends...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Those are Fabulous shoes!
That can't really be a course, can it? I'm glad you spend your time with writing classes. I'm sure you're already talented enough in the art of ... walking.
What are you planning to take next?
What is it with Charlie and the top of the stairs? Has he ever fallen down them? He sure seems to nap there a lot. :)
We'll stick to our paws. Those things look dangerous...and possibly fun to chew.
A six week class in how to walk in high heels! You should take it! Sounds like it could be fun if you went with some fun girl friends! LOL Charlie is right about the PHD thingy!!!
Have a nice weekend!
Did the package come in yet?
xxoo
Deborah
Really I have lived on this planet almost 47 years and still cannot walk in them.
Can you put my name down for that course? LOL, I dont think six weeks would be long enough for me.
Hm, seems to me you've got a good idea there! maybe you should suggest it to the college! :)
I'm a sucker for strangely titled classes.
And I do need a course on how to walk in high heels.
Think I need to enroll in something like that, being as 'vertically chsllenged' as I am....
:D
I think I've "heard" it all now. LOL!
Mind you, I can't walk in heels to save my soul. I can remember many years ago, while still living in Halifax, there was a man who, while not a cross-dresser (at least in public), used to wear high heels with his suits. Very high heels. I'd see him a lot on Quinpool Road, so he must have lived in the area. I always was impressed and a bit envious, frankly, at his ability to walk steadily, at a good clip!
I just read about the course from your link - do they also do a "How to push a full shopping trolley while wearing killer heels" - that could make for an interesting supermarket shop.
Charlie is taking good care of your shoes - does he wear them when you go out!!
Charlie, I wouldn't try those if we were you. You might fall head over heels. But that course that Mom made up sounds like a good one but we still don't want to wear those funny shoes. Thanks for the chuckle this morning. Have a great week end.
good'un, kit ;) lol
charlie's always spot on with his observations!
My high heel days are over and done! If I can do 2" heels now I am doing good!
cats of wildcat woods
MOL......and we know Charlie is happy he doesn't have to walk in those!!!!!!!!!
My heart was racing there for a moment, a class on how to walk in heels and then before I realized the class was over, I remembered I walk in heels all the time. But maybe there was some little thing I could glean from such a class. HeyHo! How very disappointing!!!
Haha! Oh dear Lord, the college courses they come up with these days...
Now I sound like I'm eighty. Which I'm not! I love high heels but they do hurt my feet and my back. I used to wear them religiously in the corporate world but now I don't put them on very often!
hahaha, very cute!
Goodness! This must be a put on.
Luckily, we cats don't need to put those funny things on our feet. Our paws are very attractive and work beautifully and we have naturally elegant gaits.
When I was at school they were trying to get me to go and learn Alexander technique to improve my balance. (But I didn't go and am therefore still a clumsy mare)
Old kitty, there is a publishing company called Roast Books in London,
they do lots of fun, modern mini books etc, your stuff would fit right in, fun and topical.
You could do a cat-ionary, a dictionary for cat lovers or something like that, really, it would be excellent.
Just remember me for the book launch - Ive got killer heels to wear.
The key to high heels is to just look fabulous, and then everyone brings everything to you! You never need walk again.
Oh, I am SO going to need this class too! We can go together, Charlie!
Hi O.K.,
Totter Ye Not! Love that headline.
I hope you're taking those tips to heart because they do make sense.
I like what Charlie had to say about your shoes. No, they just don't look too Charlie-ish. The color's OK, but the heels aren't quite the right size & shape! :)
Lovely heels.
Momma would KILL herself in those.
Because she has vesticular problems, she also has balance issues. She doesn't wear anything over 2"....
Helllo handsome Charlie.

I don't know Jenn. If the class comes around again I think you should go for. And post LOTS of pictures! As for me ... I have enough trouble walking in my crocs!
Hi Charlie!
I'd need more than a PhD to walk in those shoes --I'd need new feet! :-) I'm afraid my high heel days are over and it is only comfortable shoes for me!
