Speaking the lingo

Bloggie friends!

There I was trying to catch up with all your blogs when this message flashes up in luminous purple on my screen:

“Your Dell computer is about to start an enumeration of hardware scanning”.

When my computer starts to speak to me and in better English too, it’s definitely bed time!

Charlie says: Bath time first, then snooze time.

Thanks again for all your lovely well wishes!! Let's hope Spring brings new beginnings and fresh opportunities and good health for all!

Japan Earthquake Appeals:

British Red Cross, World Vision, Global Giving, Save the Children

Here is one for animals: Wetnose Animal Aid: they help animals in need all over the world and have a special donate button specifically for the Animal Refuge in Kansai, Japan

Have a lovely day, y'all!

Hey there, my computer 'speaks' to me, 'Joanna Lumley' says, 'you've got email', which comes as a great surprise to shy and humble me :-)
All very worthy links you have shared.
Nice to see y'all are now speaking just like an American, y'all. What next? Americans saying 'how are you duck?'
Penny the Jack Russell dog says, 'Arf, arf!' :-)
Take good care,
x

Your blog mirrors your giving personality, focused as it is on helping those in need!

And you, too, need to be well. Charlie needs you!! And so do your bloggie friends!!!

Spring IS coming. Be well. (I'd go to bed, too, if my computer started talking to me!!)

Old Kitty and Charlie, it looks like you both have the right idea; "Old Kitty" for going to bed while the Dell does its things.

And Charlie for not really paying much attention at all, except for getting in a few good licks.

Thank you for remembering those in Japan and for including the links in your post.

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. I hate when my computer thinks it's smarter than me!

Very good links, Charlie. Thank you.

Yes, bathing before napping gets you in the mood to totally zzzzzz out!

I will check those cat links out ...

Yes, talking computers definitely mean its bedtime. Let the thing figure out what it's doing while you're sleeping.

How nice of you to provide links to donate.

There also is World Vets at http://www.worldvets.org/. I only recently heard of them via the CB.

March 17th is Paws for Japan Day, apparently (I've added it to my scheduled post), a fundraising effort for World Vets.

Have a great Tuesday and smooches to Charlie!

Charlie is furry white and it looks as though he must have had dozens of baths today - he sparkles with whiteness!!
We would love simple words for computer speak!!
We're glad you like the new blog header - mum had been thinking about one and out of the blue Ann from Zoolatry sent us an email for our blogaversary with this header attached. We have had quite a lot of good comments about it and mum likes it because it makes her think of spring and warmer weather.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

Hi "Old Kitty" and Charlie,

I thought sure I posted on here last night/Monday night. Must have closed out instead without posting it.

Anyway, we're hoping you're having a great day.

And thank you for posting about the places to contribute for those in Japan.

My computer once told me there were too many errors in my document to be specified. It was the first time I'd been insulted by something not living.
