An Ode to an Ode

writing abandoned
as kitty sleeps
across the keyboard

Ok, I write bad freestyle haikus as well! LOL!

But did anyone know that 21 March was World Poetry Day?

And that the 3rd of March was World Maths Day?

Half way to the weekend!!

Charlie says
"Give me attention!" I often get the same pose from my cat :)

Thanks for your congratulations on the arrival of our grandson! We are thrilled!

As bad as your poetry might be, it's better than my poor excuses for poetry. Hello, Charlie!

Charlie, you need to move so Mom can work! My kitty never sleeps on the keyboard, she prefers a nice soft chair or bed. :)

I like visiting your site. I love cats. I have two myself, a long-haired Main Coon named SmellyCat, and a Silver Tabby named Rosie, and there couldn't be two different personalities. Good luck with compilation for Japan.

Charlie is just ensuring that you're blogging about *him*. :-)

Just the word "math" makes my eyes glaze over. Ha.

And no, I didn't know about World Poetry Day or World Maths Day. My life suddenly feels incomplete. :-P

I didn't know that. My father informed me last week there was a 'national french speakers day'. I was like really?

Honk honk, beep beep.... driving to the weekend. I wish the good people of the world did not have to go to a 9-5 job, if I had one wish to make come true.
Love lazy kitties the way they stretch their body so nonchalantly across space.

You are lucky that Charlie sits in front of you while you blog because our cats sit in the back half of my computer chair as I type! It's a miracle I don't fall off the computer while I write to everyone, really! Very funny post!

Where have I been this week?

It may have something to do with the fact I went to bed BEFORE 9 pm on Monday. My week has been kind of like that.

That's a very sweet haiku!

Haha. If you don't accomplish something on your computer you can blame it on Charlie and show people the picture as evidence.

April is apparently Poetry Month. Will we see lots more haiku then? :)
