In my attempt to make a dental appointment, the following telephone conversation occurred towards the end!
Me: So I'll be there on the 16th of December at 11 am.
Receptionist: No the 15th of November at 10 am.
Me: December?
Receptionist: Yes, the 16th of December.
Me: At 10 am?
Receptionist: No, 11 am.
Me: On the 16th ?
Receptionist: The 15th at 11 am
Me: Please could we start again?
She was really nice but got me most confused!
Charlie says: Easily done.

Thanksgiving weekend is over and I can't wait for the next break!
23 days 'til Christmas. And how many days until your dental appointment? Are we going back in time or forward? 15th or 16th? If I were you, I'd just camp out there and see when they have time to squeeze you in.

Merry Christmas.... just heard we're now supposed to say Happy Holidays.... Who Cares? You'll have a new tooth for Christmas. Your conversation is like the old Abbot and Costello as in "who's on first."
lol- too funny. When my husband speaks fast or I have water running or there's background noise, I'll hear him say the weirdest things and repeat back to him what I heard. It gets pretty funny.

Ha! When I bought my lunch yesterday the woman asked whether I'd like a bag. I said yes thank you. She nodded, and then asked me whether I wanted a bag. I was like uh...yes? It's the time of year!
