The Other

Bloggie friends!!!

I was trying to edit my Through the Keyhole blog entry but Charlie had other ideas!!!

So let's join him as he watches a gorgeous large Great Tit (stop giggling at the back!) flutter and hop amongst the branches of next door's giant tree!

His tail was really whooshing here!

Charlie says: Come to papa little birdie!

Have a tipsy Tuesday everyone!

18 surreal day to Christmas!

Oh, we love to watch the birds! What fun.

Charlie looks like he definitely enjoys watching nature in action. I love the black spot on his back.

Ah, the little creatures never know how close they are to a painful and gruesome death.

Kitty Boss does this with squirrels and Roo nearly tore apart our back porch going after a moth!

Love the chirping they do...

Funny post, thanks for making me laugh :)

Charlie, get your human to let you out so you can get the birdie! A pre-Christmas treat of raw meat. :-)

Good luck with the edits!

Does he make the chattering sound when he watches birds? Mack and Magoo do. They love to sit in the windows and watch--I have 2 feeders outside two different windows in my office, and they love it.

Charlie's so cute and would be a distraction to me as well.

They really should change the name. How can we NOT giggle?

Maybe I should just speak for myself.

I can't wait for the big Christmas break.

Happy Tuesday to you.

GO Charlie!! You NOM that bird!!!

I remember chortling at the name of blue tits on one of my visits to my English Grandma's in the 1970s. But I did think they were very sweet as they came to the feeder in her garden.

One of our cats used to have hours of fun leaping up at our bird feeder from inside the nearby window. After a while the brids just ignored him so everyone was happy. He got to "hunt" while staying warm, the birds were safe and we were entertained!

Oh no, Charlie - don't eat the birdie!

Birdies are great to watch! Good hunting, Charlie!

Interesting sight, isn't it, Charlie?

Charlie,

It looks to us like you have the right idea - and a great perch there to really see what's going on outside. Swishing tail is an awesome idea for emphasis, too!

Say hi to "Old Kitty" from us.

Does he make those little chirpy noises when birds come around. My cats try to chirp at them, like that's going to fool anyone.

Ooh...good luck with your edits! Riley is in my lap right now helping me type this comment. Got to love those kitties! They are so helpful...:)

We can't blame Charlie swishing his tail - bet he wanted to go hunting.

Awwwwwwww, Charlie, can't you convince Old Kitty to let you go out and catch that birdie????????

Love to you both.

Marg said...

Poor Charlie, you need to go outside and give chase to that birdie. Hope Mom gets her writing done. Get that Tit.

*giggles* Though I'm giggling because on a PG rated forum at one point a group of us got in TROUBLE for provocative language (imagine that) and Rayna wrote a HYSTERICAL short story that took place on a farm... it was full of tits and cocks and dicks... There was a long stream of words like that, every last one with an innocent meaning.

In Michigan, in winter, if you put a little seed on your hand, you can have a tit land right there on your finger. It's a wonder we aren't more crowded eh?

Thanks for coming by my blog and for reminding me about Iceland and the ash cloud! Am slightly confused by the Through the Keyhole blogfest - where can I read your entry please? (Still haven't got to grips with the finer points of blogging as you can tell!)
All best to you and Charlie - hope you didn't end up with a cat shaped hole in the window, if temptation finally got the better of him :-)

I'm so juvenile; I can't help but snicker at the bird's name! I know, I know. :)

Happy Tuesday, Old Kitty and Charlie!

Awww, I love his bushy swishy tail. (I kinda wish I had a tail)

And, OMG, you just gave me a bit of a panic attack...18 days!!!! Yipes. The house is done, the gifts are bought (though not all have arrived yet), but I haven't wrapped on single thing, nor have I sent any cards. *sigh*

Huggles,

You can't help laugh at a name like Great Tit and frankly, I'm surprised the PC brogade haven't changed it already! LOL.

Mom said you have a wonderful tail to swish!
Sometimes the little birds come right up next to us. We are their friends, but do not think the kittycats inside the house would be friends with them.
