One Last Time!

Adieu 2010, goodbye
It’s been a ball and doesn’t time fly?
I laughed and I cried, I wrote and I sighed
I got sick so many times but that’s all by the by!

Today I will make mulled ale
From the spices I got in the Sale!
I’ll stay within limit, won’t make it a habit
For 2011 is the year of the Rabbit!
(Or the Cat if you are Vietnamese!)

Charlie says: Your last bad poem for 2010 is truly awful. Thank goodness for my string.

Bloggie friends!!! Charlie and I will see you all on the other side!

xx

Thank you to lovely Bin for the info about the Year of the Cat and the Rabbit! Amazing!

Well, let's see if I can do it
I thought I'd read right thru it.
But then came the day
When I had to say
Goodbye 2010 and I knew it!

Happy New Year "Kitty" and Charlie too.

Mulled spices and summer clothes during the sale? You're versatile!

Love you lovely little poems. Keep 'em coming in 2011.

This New Year's Eve, I'll be freezing my butt off at First Night in Boston. But I'll enjoy the ice sculptures, parade, and fireworks, and then get some Thai food.

Have a happy and healthier new year. xo!

The year of the rabbit. That is interesting. So are we all meant to get rabbits?? I have always wanted to rabbit but never had a good place to keep one.

I like your poem & enjoy your mulled ale! :)

Hope you & Charlie have a very happy & prosperous 2011.

Okay, that poem was... No it was cute and funny. But what's the deal, Has Charlie's nose always been black? and his paw pads? Or does he just go to sleep and pick up more black every day? Maybe this time next year he'll be a black cat with a few white spots
