A Lesson learned

So I am lying horizontal on my lovely dentist’s chair looking up at a blank tv screen hanging from the ceiling above me.

My dentist inserts a camera in my mouth, the tv screen lights up and oh my stars bloggie friends, I see my teeth! In full gaudy technicolour! In extreme close up!

I swear then and there that I shall always and forever more never forget to brush BEHIND my front teeth.

Charlie says: Finally, snack time!

Have a mesmerising Monday everyone!

6 oh so exciting days to Christmas!

A camera in your mouth? Good lord! Don't think I'd like that ...

When I was at the dentist last week, all I had to look at was a faded picture on the ceiling of a goldfish, which incidentally was hanging on by a thread, and, in black and white!

Hi there,
Penny here. Gary, you remember him, the dude I allow to live with me, says whilst watching your teeth in technicolour, it might have been neat to have the theme music to Jaws playing in the background:-)
See what a clever dog I am. I can type!
Pawsitive wishes, Penny xx

KITTY!!!! Cute as always :D

Wow, the dentist has technology. I'm impressed. My internet where I'm staying is incredibly flaky so I might not be able to comment much this week.

I hope the dentist visit wasn't too traumatic.

Dental things are no fun, let's eat Charlie! I'm still on our phone, no internet.

Dentist's magnifying glasses and cameras are just awful!! I feel the same way after every visit. Enjoy your noms, Charlie!

LOL! Oh, that was too funny! My dentist's TV runs gross videos of gum disease and lessons on how to brush properly.

I hope it went okay, all fixed up!

Ain't that a shocker-roo? Charlie has the fanciest of dishes. One lucky duck, errr cat.

I would definitely not want to see my teeth on a TV screen. Do they do that to scare us into better oral hygiene?

Enjoy that snack, Charlie!

I know what you mean, Jen! Once a person passes a certain age tooth tarter seems to proliferate! It's gross. I use a tarter control toothpaste and brush after every meal.

I hope Charlie is brushing behind his teeth too!

Don't ya just love the dentist? They expose the worst sides of you :P

But they do keep us on our toes, brushing and flossing (or wishing we brushed and flossed more...)

You have a mesmerizing Monday, too, sweets!

You were shown in full color? What will they think of next to entertain you?

I like Charlie's food bowl -- looks appropriately elegant!

Why is that the hardest spot to brush?

Soggibottom said...

Bet the dentist started to talk to you expecting you to answer too :-)
Go for it Charlie. yum !

Did you charge the dentist for filming rights to the back of your teeth?

There are just something's we are better off not seeing! I hate those dentist movies.

Hope you treated yourself to a nice treat after being subjected to such trauma.

I have to confess, I'm not such a fan of that dentist tool either! :D

Merry Christmas to you & Charlie! :o) <3

I have rarely been to a dentist office when I haven't discovered something I've neglected to do with my teeth! This post has reminded me to floss more often. Charlie is adorable, as usual. Have a wonderful Christmas, Kitty!

Oh my that sounds horrible. Hope that doesn't happen again or at least next time, tell him NOT to do that. Yuck.Charlie, that sure looks like a great snack. Yummy. Hope you have a super week. Christmas is coming.

Oh wow, I haven't been to the dentist since mine retired a while back and oh, this doesn't make me want to go!

What I want to know is if it was scary enough to give up coffee and red wine. I know my teeth are terribly stained and THOSE are the culprits.

That would be one of the times when I wouldn’t be too appreciative of technology. I wonder if you can ask for a good movie instead!)

Camera in your mouth? That's a new one on me...well, I hadn't heard of that around here. And I'm surprised, because our dentist seems to get all the new-fangled stuff.

Now about that photo of Charlie. Cute, cute, cute. But when I first looked at it I saw a photo of one of those little white mice.

Look closely. See the two black spots by Charlie's ears? To me, they look like eyes!

Sorry Charlie. I love you anyway.

Your teeth on a tv screen? Gosh. Whatever next?!

Tell Charlie I prefer chocolate snacks. LOL.

I don't think I've ever had a camera in my mouth.
If it meant I didn't have to let them put those weird plastic things in my mouth while they x-ray, I'd be thrilled.
I'm an avid brusher, but my flossing kicks ass. :)

Hmmm...I wonder if Charlie would let you brush his teeth?

Have a very Merry Christmas!!
Love,
Lola

Getting a close look at our teeth is as about as unglamorous as it gets. That and putting our feet in stir-ups.

Our dentist has one of those too! I hate it, yuck!

If, it was me on the dentist chair ..

Imagine having 3 day-old vegs stucked in between, super biggie version ... I'd faint, the dentist too!!

Gotta catch up on your posts!

I've been well, mentally challenged lately.
