Roll out the Red Carpet and a dog called Skeletor.

I've got an award! Yay!

The fab Nicki of Wool'N'Nuts has nominated me for this award:

Thank you, Niki!
Now for the piece de resistance...

I have to tell six untruths and one not so! Eeek!

1) I am 6 ft 2 with golden flowing locks, legs up to my armpits, cheekbones to rival the best ski slopes and a wiggle that always stops traffic dead.

2) I am descendent from an ancient Martian race who crash landed on earth trillions of years ago but who have now been so assimulated with the human population that no-one knows how the First Ones looked like

3) I worship at the Altar of Chocolate and pray to the Goddess of Muffins. Everyday. Without fail. At least 3 times daily. During the Periods of Brunch, TeaTime and Dessert. It says so in the Book of Cocoa

4) I love Marmite. On Everything. Except on muffins.

5) I can belly dance.

6) I've been handed a court order to stop stalking the original cast of Star Trek.

7) I've always liked P.E lessons. Always.

Phew!! That was HARD! I think now you have to guess which is the truth amidst the cornucopia of lies. I just want to run away and hide somewhere safe... LOL!

And this is the best bit. I get to nominate... EVERYONE!! Well six but Maths has never been my strong point!

fairyhedgehog - again for the lovely Hamster! , musings on a small life , stacy's cafe , substituteteacher's saga , spinster of the parish , welshcake , lexi , cat in the buff , block or not , Mille ,Ann , patch of dirt , Jane , Alex, Kate , Jenny Woolf , SuzyQ , Noir , KarenG
Amanda , Melinda , Amy and the House of Cats , Amy and the Meow Family , iasa - hope you're feeling better! , Susan, Wild Cat Woods , Simon , Umi_e, Sharon

And finally... a little lovely story brought to my attention by the fab Amy and the House of Cats.

A guy is having his breakfast on his porch. A dog wanders up to him. The dog is a great big pit bull. The dog is also starved, neglected, abandoned and very hungry. The guy is now looking after the dog, called Skeletor. Here is their story.

Have a lovely Saturday!

#5 is true? Though #3 would be true for me, just about. LOL. (BTW, I had to Google marmite.)

Thanks for the nomination! Not sure I can do this one, it's hard to even just come up with a daily post-or almost daily-let alone come up with several lies. I'm so boring, I know, I know.

I saw the posts related to Skeletor. I didn't read the first ones, but went to the blog yesterday. Did you know that here in Ontario there is a pit-bull ban? Animal control officers can seize your dog if it even looks like a pit bull. One of my co-workers helped rescue a pitbull last year, and got her out of Ontario through the pitbull underground.

I'm never disappointed when I read these posts of yours, Kitty. This one had me smiling, and it's 6 a.m. after being up four hours already. I would guess that you do love Marmite. And chocolate and muffins. Umm, which is it? I guess the Marmite.

And thank you for nominating me!! You're the best!

I'm guessing 3 is true. If not then it's 4 or 5. Although, I've never met you so it could be 1...

Thanks for the nomination! I'm not doing awards but I do appreciate the thought.

It's 1), isn't it?

You haven't posted a picture because you have a kind nature and don't want to discourage the rest of us.

Your lies are too funny. I believe a few of them have some truth (I bet the cocoa and muffin one is mostly true) or wishful thinking (Legs up to your armpits).

I thought all people in great Britain and Australia love Marmite. Isn't it a law? If you've deceived me on the Marmite one, I think you may be able to belly dance.

Thanks to your comments on my blog, I know #7 isn't true!

Hi there, I'm going to comment about your untruths as soon as I get this query out the door (or the computer, I should say), but I just read your comment on my blog and I wanted you to know that it's not too late - the contest doesn't close for another 45 minutes!

Hi Kim!

I'm abit unsure myself as to the what is true or untrue! LOL!!!

Oh pitbulls here are definitely banned and if you have one they need to be registered and the police need to know and you have to prove that they are not going to be a danger to anyone.

There's been a wave of bad publicity about this type of breed, poor creatures. Your friend is/was very brave!!

I think the Skeletor story is so amazing! So far he's only been very sweet and gentle given his breed's reputation. Fingers crossed that Skeletor's foster owners know what they're doing with regards to handling such a breed - and maybe show just how wonderful these dogs could be given the right environment.

Hi Theresa Milstein

Oh I think there should be a law for everyone on this planet to like marmite or else!

I like that!

Er... was I that obvious about not having a great love affair with P.E? LOL! Oh I couldn't bear to do P.E. esp. gymnastics. Yuk!

Hi Susan Fields

Thank you so much for that info. I really tried to write a query letter off but I just couldn't write one quick enough..

But it's made me re-think about my novel that has been languishing at the bottom of my drawer A LOT! LOL!

So it's all good!

Marmite on muffins would be dismal, but I've a funny feeling that marmite on chocolate might just work...

hmmm #5 is true? My kitties said #4. :). Thank you for nominating us. :)

Sorry to hear you didn't get your query out in time. I got mine out just under the wire at 12:55pm. I started trying to send it at 12:30, but due to technical difficulties it took a while.

Thanks for the nomination! I'm just positive #1 is the truth.

If 4 is true, does that mean that 3 isn't?! There's no book of Cocoa?

Thanks for the nomination!

Hmm...I woulda said the truth was belly dance too! See, Tommy tried ia year or two ago due a chum wanted her to try. OK--well, the class was 30 miles from her house and she wouldn't know if the class was cancelled, due to no-shows, until she got there. Tommy wasn't feelin' that. In the short time Tommy went--she enjoyed it. And I thought maybe the court order to stay from Star Trek folks might be true too............. :)

Wow that is an awesome award - we are too far behind to guess I think but that is ok!

And thanks for passing it on to us!

Also thanks for passing on the info on Skeletor - he is such a cutie. I think he could be a good ambassador to show people not all pit bulls are mean - a lot are very nice!
