Happy Year of the Tiger and Happy Valentine's Day, Old Kitty!
Yes, visitors are able to go to the observation deck of 30 Rockefeller Center for a fee. The view up there is magnificent. On a clear day, in the nicer weather, I'll go again and take photos from the top.
Happy Valentine's Day, Old Kitty! Thank you for the virtual chocolates, which will make it much easier to fit into my jeans.
My husband has a Vietnamese employee who gave us a bunch of traditional food to celebrate the new year, which is not making it so easy to fit into my jeans.
Pat, I wanted to go to the observation this summer, but was appalled over how much it would costs the four of us for the privilege of the view on a sweltering day. We went to Carnegie's Deli instead. I had a great pastrami and egg sandwich.
A pop-up Chinese New Year gift shop popped up this month in one of the shopping centres in town and I ended up buying a little tiger statue for a relative who likes that kind of thing.... it seemed to be almost as much trouble to get into a box as a real one would have been (albeit with a bigger box)...
Oh wow! I can't wait! I must link to your blog with those fabulous window displays - the plastic bottles and the red, red, red everywhere! They were great!
It's like when I try and put the Cat in her cage to take to the vets, she EXPANDS and it's a laugh a minute trying to get her in...! How do these creatures do that?!?!?
