Sweet Perry, ponytails and buns

Brilliant Bloggie friends!! One of the most obvious signs that I need a haircut is when the ends of my ponytail-led hair gets caught up in the tube bit of my vacuum cleaner as I change attachments.

Ouch is not the word I screamed out when this occurred today.

Yep, it's either a trip to the dreaded hairdressers or I stop vacuuming and sport a hairbun infinitum instead.

If I wait any longer my hair will be way past my bum. And that for a 5ft 1 inch person is not a good look! LOL!

Charlie says: Neither is your messy table!

On a more serious note: I am very sad to learn that the lovely Tommy of Noir's Nook lost Perry. I know how much Perry meant to Tommy and his passing is such a shock. Purrs and hugs and lots of love, Tommy. I am lighting a candle in my heart for you.

Have a peaceful Wednesday everyone.

i feel your pain, my first rule before doing ANY task is tie up my hair. Unfortunately I forget that rule quite a lot. I've caught my hair in a bicycle chain, nearly caught it on fire from the stove, and stepped on it bending over to pick up something. All today.

Is always sad the departure of a cat, even a feline companion.
A kiss from Brazil to you!

Must have taken years for your hair to have grown so long. Have you considered making a wig out of you long lovely hair?

Long hair is sexy though! Just stop vacuuming.

Sorry to hear about Tommy's friend, Perry. Nothing sucks worse than losing a pet.

Sorry for your friend's loss. :o( So very hard.

You could always donate your hair if it's that long. :o) That's what I did last year. Now I'm debating whether to grow it out again.

Have a wonderful Wednesday as well!

Hugs,
Jackee

Lucky you to have such strong, long hair. Any hair that can get sucked up in the vacuum has to be the strongest. Leave the hairballs to Charlie. :)

Oh, go for broke and do the Lady Godiva/Cousin Itt Look. It'll be fun!

We were so sad to hear that Perry ran off to the Bridge.

Thank you for letting us know about poor sweet Perry. It's been a sad year for the CB.

Charlie, your wisdom is right on point, as usual! You should see the mess we endure!

I'd love to see a picture of your ultra-long hair!

My sympathy to Tommy.

Haha... you have long hair girl! I seriously need a haircut myself too. It has reached a point when keeping it loose looks bad and tying it up makes it look very flat...

Sorry to hear about Tommy :(

So sorry for your friends loss; it's horrible losing a pet.

Yes. I'd say you do need a haircut. LOL. I'm 5ft, so I sympathise with you on the whole hair length thing.

That a whole lotta hair!!! Yes, were so sad to hear about sweet Perry too.

Somehow I think a haircut is the better option. :-)

I really can't wear long hair, my face is too long and narrow and it just drags me down, looks terrible. Rats!

We're all very sorry for Tommy's loss, it *was* a shock. :-(

I have never experienced the pain of vacuuming my own hair but it certainly sounds painful!

Poor Perry! We were very sad to hear about him. Such a horrible loss

It is so sad about Perry going to Rainbow Bridge - we hardly dare look on the CB when we switch on as there have been so many losses.
To save your hair getting caught in the vacuum perhaps Charlie could do a little light housework.

Awe, sorry to hear about the loss of Perry. And it sounds like you'll be getting a makeover along with your blog- I LOVE your new background. Purple and violet are some of my favorite colors.

We were very saddened to hear about Perry.
As to the hair, I sure would stop vacuuming, that is for sure. What a super excuse.
Take care, and Charlie you are looking good and we are glad to see you at home.

We say stop vacuuming and forget the dreaded trip to the hairdresser!!!!!

Charlie, you look like you're doing an excellent snoopervising job.

Yes, so very sad about dear Perry. :(

Love to both of you.

So sad about Perry...

I wish my hair would grow super long. If it is wet, it is mid back, but it is curly, so actually stops above my shoulder blades... I would like a long braid, myself...

No chance of my hair getting caught in the nozzle! Just cut it all off, Jen, and you'll be fine!

Hi to Charlie!

As for the hair dilemma, forget the haircut, stop vacuuming.

Hi, Jennifer... Wow, that's some long hair~ I wish mine was that long. No, I wouldn't recommend not vacuuming. Imagine all the Charlie hair that would coat your carpets? :)

As for your hair--Don't cut it too short! :( Put it in braids while you clean. <3

*hugs*

My hair used to be so long when I worked at an office years ago that my boss used to get stressed it would get caught in the folding/stapling machine - once it nearly did and he caught it in time and glared at me! xx

Four small children with sticky tugging hands convinced me to get a short hair cut and I haven't gone long since!

Sorry to hear about your friend's kitty. I have a senior pal (a pony), the darn things live so long they share the better part of your life and it will be unspeakably painful when he passes.

Aw, hugs to Tommy. Rest in peace, Perry.

I need a haircut, too. Thankfully, I don't vacuum. :P

Theresa Milstein said...

I've never had a hair mishap like that. Then again, I never vacuum. I pawn that on everyone else. I am, however, in charge of toilets. My hair isn't long enough to worry about that!

A temporary vacuum bun is in order!

Sorry to hear about Perry.

I am sorry to hear about Tommy. It is so hard to lose a beloved furry friend!

I usually end up with my hair in a bun as it is too warm to keep it down. I'll never cut my hair short ..it is too wavy curly and need the weight to hold it down.
