Spooky stools (sorry!)

Before you read on Bloggie friends, this is rated xxx and comes with a health warning!!

So my doctor puts me on a new type of prescription.

And of course I read the little folded up paper that comes with medications and this is what it says as “possible side effects” of this drug:

Very common: (affects more than 1 user in 10) Flatulence (wind), constipation, abnormal stools.

??!?!?!?!??!

Charlie says: Hence the importance of drainage covers.

On a cleaner note: there are a couple of pictorial blogfests going round that I just know you might want to join cos it’s pictures and sounds ever so much fun to do!!!

Gorgeous Summer of … and this time concentrate is holding a “Show your space” blogfest. Basically you just put up a pic of where you do your blogging/writing/scribbling etc! Details here! Yay!

Adorable Hansel of The World of Hansel is holding a Spooktacular (link clickable) competition. Basically you dress up/photoshop/snap kitty or doggie or whatever pet you have looking spooky!!

Charlie went in for this, the silly cat! Here he is amongst the cutest most loveliest Halloween kitties and doggies!

Have a manic Monday everyone!

Oh my! This post was really racy, my friend! I hope you know that the side effects of every drug is meant as a warning and those effects may never happen to you! I think the side effect warnings are meant to scare us which (witch) is perfect for this time of year!
Thank you for your comments about the longest cats in the world! I cannot imagine having a cat who is 4 feet tall but I think I could get used to the idea!

Thanks for not including visuals with this post. Further information on this subject is not required. Please continue with photos of Charlie.
Thank you!

Thanks for the thoughts on your stool. I thought you were going to put pics on your blog post, happy that you didn't. I'm not sure I will join the blog fest but I'm seriously debating it.

Are they what Casper has after eating too much Halloween candy?

Charlie is so pretty. He reminds me of Kitty (I inherited her so I am not to blame for the name.) She was pure Persian and pure vain Princess.

May your week pass smoothly (pun intended.) Roland

Oh that wonderful charlie! How absolutely laid back/relaxed he is!!! Shouldn't we all be such.

Thanks for the wonderful links, and your lovely comment on MY latest post. Jen sends her love, too.

Hmm, sometimes the side effects of medication are worse than the initial symptoms you are trying to treat!

Have a good and er, normal Monday. LOL!

Its that cat again. Hilarious. Cats are a lot of fun evn when they are just laying around and doing nothing.

Charlie does look spooky in his contest entry! I always worry the side effects of meds seem worse sometimes than the illness!

Oh Jenn - you are so super funny! Now I know what happen to Charlie!! Hahaha!!! You are one happy influence!

I've not seen "abnormal stools" in any of my meds label - well, do share if it appears! It will be interesting. Photos may not be necessary though - just description.

Well Jenn, I hope you are feeling okay?? When you said "new" means there is an "old" med not working?

{{{hugs}}}

Great links, thanks so much! LOL! And sorry about the crappy (pun intended) side effects of your medicine. :o)

Have a wonderful day!

those side effects are always interesting. good luck and I hope none befall you.

That is spooky!
I'm assuming they don't mean the type you sit on...

Is there a medicine that can do away the side effects, and then another to do away for the new one, and then another....

Oh forget it.... I do remember my doctor dad lecturing me about the smell change in urines when taking antibiotics...

Nothing shocks me anymore... Hehe.

There are some unusual stools here.

Gosh. I saw the x's and for a moment thought there were going to be pictures of abnormal stools!!! I won't go into too much detail but the LSO once produced one in the shape of a question mark. Is that the type of stool they're referring to? LOL.

Ooo. . .Charlie did look wicked in that picture!

Those blogfests sound like fun - thanks for the heads up! And good luck with your medicine - yikes!

It is curious what exactly they mean by 'abnormal', but that doesn't mean we want to see photos!

Charlie, you look fabulous as an evil kitty! Good luck in the contest!

Oh my..lol...some of the drug side effects I have heard read in TV commercials crack me up! One says that the drug "may cause an unusual urge to gamble"! I guess spooky stools is mild compared to that! lol

PS I went over to see Charlie's fun photo on Hansel's blog. What a good zombie he makes! :)

I'm always amazed (and not in a good way) of the lists of side effects on medications.

Have a great week.

Oh my that medicine does not sound like fun. Glad it is you and not me. Just kidding. Hope you didn't get any of the side effects. Take care.

O.K.,
Now we've finally figured out why Charlie's hanging around drainage covers lately!

Oh dear. I can only imagine - sounds like a winsome number of side effects! Hope Charlie isn't suffering too much as a result! :)

Amy & the house of cats said...

Oh that is a nice sounding side effect! What the heck does that even mean (wait, I don't think I want to know!)

I think Charlie looks nice and comfy there (and seriously, have you ever heard the song "Charlie Says" - I get that stuck in my head every time I read the blog - luckily it is a good song).

And we went to see his Halloween post - we think it is great! And we think it is going to be in the catagory we are sponsoring!

Hope the meds work-flatuence-kitties love anything that is stinky.

Charlie seems quite happy lounging around.

I hope you don't deal with any of those possible side effects! Ugh.

I love Charlie's picture. He was a bit scarier than usual but still beautiful.
