Pustules of plot holes

Bloggie friends I am silly again!! Yes, always!!

There I was in my bathroom thinking I was dabbing TCP (a very mild liquid antiseptic) onto the hormonal pustules (or spots!) that have decided to break out all over my face when realisation strikes.

Instead of the stinky, stingy antiseptic that actually works in getting rid of my zits - what was I using?

Nail polish remover.

Charlie asks: does it work on ants too?

In my defence I wasn't wearing my glasses and this was after trying and failing to get through my chapter 16. I've created a mega plot hole because I'm changing the tone of one of my characters. Now nothing makes sense! LOL!

Have a macarena Monday everyone and HAPPY LABOR/LABOUR Day to my aromatic American bloggie AND cute Canadian friends!!! :-)

So, how well does the stingy anteiseptic work on your nails?

Melissa Cunningham said...

That sounds like something I would do! Did it work? lol

Have a Macarena Monday, too! :)

Hope you're OK after that little mishap. Yeah, these things happen especially if you have more than 1 bottle on the counter or in your medicine chest.

Charlie does ask a very good question!

Don't worry about chapter 16 for now, you'll fix the problem w/ the plot hole & make it better. Such are the challenges of writing.

MOL! Our mom has actually made that mistake with mouthwash!

Working through chapter 16 + not wearing glasses - completely plausible to use nail polish remover.

My question, did it work? Was it serendipity, and now we know a true blemish cure?!

I am having a lovely Labor Day weekend, thank you. The weather has been so kind as to cooperate. Sunny. Warm. Not too warm.

HA! Thank goodness you didn't brush with hemerrhoid cream...just sayin'.

Thanks for cursing all the irritating rude sub-humans I had to deal with yesterday. I'm hoping they all break out in superrating sores on their bottoms. That would satisfy my sense of justice. And revenge.

Charlie is in the right...it IS Sweet Pea perched on the chair. The Baby's furz are short and lie close and her muzzle is wider than The Pea's. We will have Mommy do a comparison post one of these days...

No nail varnish on your spots then! I hope it didn't hurt.

Good luck with your story revision.

Well, if nail polish remover doesn't get rid of them, nothing will!
At least you weren't cleaning your teeth with deep heat (that stuff for sore muscles)

Hope you fill in your plot hole. At least you have a plot to have holes in - i'm struggling with mine at the moment!

The question is, did it work?!

Ooh, painful, good luck with chapter 16, you'll get there.

Oh no...! Poor Jenn... :)

But then those 'spots' can make you rather 'disoriented'... I have massive oily skin, I can claim to know your pain... :)

Happy Monday, Jenn- I am so envious of our American friends today!

Ha! I sympathize, as even at my age I still break out.

BTW, it's Labour Day in Canada too....Just sayin' :-)

Better than PCP! (ha, ha.)

And what beautiful assonance and alliteration you've used, friend. Have a lovely Monday as well, with especial luck on plot hole patching.

Cheers,

I hope it didn't ouchy too much, but the smell was probably the give away! Howdy Charlie!

Bet that nail polish remover stung - if it got rid of the spots it's worth it - if not ouchie!!
Hope you get a breakthrough with chapter 16 soon.
Charlie - hide when your mum picks up a bottle and starts dabbing her spots - you never know what's going to happen next.

All I want to know is did it work. The nail polish remover, I mean. If it did you may be onto something there. Rebottle the remover with a zippy new name, patent it and Bob's your uncle!

Oh, no. But perhaps you've discovered another spot treament?!

It could be worse. When I pick up the wrong container, it's generally to put soap on my toothbrush instead of toothpaste. Bleh!

Ouchie ..this must have stung! I also wear glasses and have been known to make soem blunders like this.

Thanks for the holiday wishes ..it was nice having a three day weekend!

One holiday I went out having sprayed my hair with hairspray (in the days, long gone, when I bothered with such things) - it didn't really seem to hold the style very well, and did feel a bit too silky and not sticky enough, but I put it down to the very damp weather. So dim was I that I repeated this the next day before realising I'd used one of those clear spray-on sunscreens rather than hairspray. xx
