The Pad of I

Bloggie friends!

Even the Pope is now twittering! LOL!

And he does so using his ipad!

And I bet he reads the Bible on his Kindle too.

I feel like such an anachronism with my landline, print books and second hand laptop from 2008.

Now off I go to do my usual – “dye the heck out of my grey hair” thing. I think I’ll go Mahogany this week – cos I’m worth it.

Charlie says: Looking perfect is hard work.

Happy Canada Day to all my gorgeous Canadian bloggie friends!!!

Have a great weekend everyone!!

See? Everyone needs an iPad! And I tried once to color my hair. Decided I'd earned the grey and now wear my streaks with pride. That and dyeing it is way too much work for a dude!

I bet the Pope has lots of Bible apps on his iPad I know our Mom does!

Hello handsome Charlie.

How did you remember July 1 is Canada Day? :-)

Oh, I much prefer my print books, though I do have high speed lite at home and a fall 2010 laptop. No cell phone though!

I get my highlights done next weekend, at last. I'm letting it go a bit too long. LOL.

Have a terrific Friday and weekend.

BTW, it's rather nice to have the young royal couple here for our Canada Day festivities in Ottawa. I know they *have* to travel like this, it's part of their "jobs," but I hope they enjoy themselves too!

Happy All Day Charlie & Jenn

Who knew The Pope was such a hipster?

Charlie has no problem going white. He's very self assured.

I may dye my hair tomorrow. I haven't dyed it in about 3 years. It's too black for brown but black makes it like ink. So I'll mix the darkest brown with black and see how it goes... maybe.

Mahogany is a lovely color.

We have to keep up with technology or be left behind! I'm not sure how much I can do that but I'm trying really hard and giving it my all! :0)

Mahogany is nice - so's dark cherry so you look all purple in the sun ;-)

I saw that in the news, times are a changing.
Happy hair dyeing!! Course you are worth it.

Kitty, you're blogging. Daily. With photos. I don't think you can call yourself an anachronism. Well, you can call yourself that, obviously, but I don't think it's very accurate!

Charlie is gorgeous as always.

I had to be dragged kicking and screaming into the techno world too. I get awfully confused with remotes. I remember the days when you could simply walk up to a telly and switch it on...peasy!

Happy Canada Day. Celebrating with a hair dying day. I only just enetered the 21st century with MP3 downloads and a camera phone this year. I'm resisting kindle, twitter and FB. I love, love, love my hard copy books :O)

You aren't the only one Jenn - mum likes printed books too and we should know cos when she has insomnia (daily) the light is on all night while she is reading! Enjoy the sunshine this weekend - mum is shouting for Andy Murray today so no sleep for us - maybe Charlie we will teleport over and we can have a party.
Have a restful weekend.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

I will have to go give the Pope a tweet. Hope that mahogany hair turns out well. Great color.
Charlie, it is very hard work looking good. Have yourself a fine week end.

Lisa Potts said...

Can you imagine the kind of tweets he'll be getting?

I've been thinking about mahogany myself lately, but it would be quite a bit darker than my natural color, so I'm still just thinking.

Have a great weekend!

MOL...........well, if we had all the money at our fingertips that the Pope has at his, we could have all the latest too!!!!!!!!!

Love to both of you.

LOL! I bet the pope is better at twittering than me. I hardly do it. I do like the title of your post, "The Pad of I". You should have written a poem about it. ;)

What are you going to do when hair dye goes digital?!

Dear Lord, the Pope on Twitter? Now there's a thought.

Happy Canada Day! And happy hair dying! :)

Yeah, I saw the Pope had an iPad. Good for staying up-to-date.

Charlie's right about looking perfect & I think it comes naturally.

The Pope has an ipad, really? I'm Catholic and didn't even know that.

Don't you wish you had as much time to pamper yourself as a cat?! Imagine, nothing to do all day except sleep, be fed and make yourself beautiful. xx

If the pope can tweet... wow, there is no excuse for the rest of us.

Ah yes, Happy Canada eh. And, as you know, Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet star, made note of Canada Day on my shy, humble and very unknown Canadian, British blog. And thank you for realising I'm gorgeous, eh LOL eh..
And, of course, happy Catnap Day to Charlie...eh :)

Who would have thought about the Pope reading on an iPad! I'm with you with landline, print books and old computer. I did get an eReader for Christmas, but still much prefer print books. Love the picture!

Mahogony is a great choice, have a great hair flicking weekend:)

I had grey in my hair in my 30s and all my buddies kept asking when are you going to color it? Now that I have, I won't be able to let it go natural.

Hansel said...

at first we got real nervous and thought you were going to dye Charlie. We didn't think that would look too good. lol

Can't keep up with all the changes in technology! Are you a Terry Pratchett fan? I saw your quote. Did you know he has a new book out about cats? Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/Unadulterated-Cat-Terry-Pratchett/dp/0752853694

dolorah said...

Shoot; I leave every hair of grey in (except those that willing suicide down the drain or in the brush). I earned those grey hairs, and the right to be down right moody at a whim that accompanies them :)

I don't twitter, I seem to have too much energy focused on blogging as it is, but I'd love to see the Pope's 200 some odd character sermon on twitter.

.......dhole
