Bouncy planets

Thank you all so much for my best wishes!!! You are all beautiful stars! May only good things and happy events shower you all!

For my birthday I treated myself to a proper re-style haircut.

Nine inches were cut off and strands layered, head massaged and green tea sipped. Ahem.

Oh but I felt like a movie star when I left the salon with hair all blow dried, silky smooth, shiny and ever so bouncy!

Unfortunately like all good things - such gorgeousness came to an end the day after when my hair reverted to its normal flat as a pancake dull lustre!

Charlie says: Wheeeeeee!

Neptune - the planet - turned one whole Neptunian year yesterday. That’s 164.79 Earth years to you and me since its discovery in 1846.

I thought I’d just share that!

Midway to the weekend!

There's nothing like having your hair done to make you feel fabulous! And nine inches is a lot to have cut off -- good for you!

Ah, yes, if only our hair could look salon-styled every day, though. :-)

Charlie
I bet your fur never resorts to being flat! Aren't we cats lucky not to have to worry we always look great! No fuss no muss.
Still we bet your Mom looks great with her new do!

Heard that about Neptune too :-)
You know the thing about hair unlike cat fur, it is a law unto itself.
Hope you have a good hair day today

Happy belated b-day! I also hate the second day of the haircut, it is so difficult to replicate the look you left the salon with. And after the first wash...forget about it!

Sounds like you had a wonderful day! Sending warm wishes!

Nine inches?!

What did Charlie say - or did he not notice, like most males?

Oh I am sorry the hair fell flat, but if it made you feel good even for a short while then it was worth it and I bet it was not flat realy. Love the Charlie picture.. Hugs GJ xx

Mom had to laugh - the last time she got her hair cut, she then stopped to get groceries and as she came outside, the heavens let loose and she got drenched!!! So much for those plans....

Hello Old Kitty! Did I miss your birthday? If I did, sorry. Been busy. But I'm glad it was happy. You made me laugh about your hair going flat after the haircut day, LOL. Even when I use a hairdryer, I don't understand why I can't copy exactly how my hair looks like after a haircut! Why???? Have a great week!

MOL.....but you're beautiful inside, OK, and that is what counts most....mama can relate to the flat hair thingy, as she has super fine hair that she's never been able to do much with, and most hairdressers have NO idea how to cut or style super fine hair.

Mama is trying to get thru the monitor, darlin' Charlie, to snorgle your gorgeous tummy!!!!!!!

Love to both of you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jennifer aka L'Oreal Girl (because you're worth it!)
I had to dash up to my Mum's as she was poorly so was offline for a couple of days. My hair hates sprays and after drying lotions. it usually flops the next morning too. :O)

I'm sure your hair isn't pancake ish at all! I love the feel of silky hair after the hairdresser had done it. How do they do that? Some crazy magic involved.
Glad you had a lovely day!!

I had 10 inches cut off 3 years ago and have kept it short(ish) since. I love it.
Your hair never looks better than after the salon does it. Then you wash it, and, back to blah, lol. It really doesn't seem fair.

I had no idea Neptune had such a long year. Would we age slower if we lived there?

I love getting my hair professionally done. You'll have to become famous so you can have a stylist everyday.
