Lovely bloggie friends it’s great to be back!! All those roundabouts at Milton Keynes have made me quite dizzy! No more roundabouts please!
Anyway beautiful bloggie friends.... I have a little mystery.
I received a letter and a packet of seeds (snake heads – fritillary) but I have no idea who sent them! The postmark is Tyneside and I really don't know anyone personally from there so I think it's from one of you lovely lovely blogfriends. :-)
Charlie doesn’t know either.
I’m very sorry for my lack of memory.
I just want to say THANK YOU so much to the very kind person who sent me these seeds!!
I love Fritallaries – they are absolutely gorgeous. Thank you, thank you, thank you kind person.
This weekend I’m hoping to finish a couple of short stories to send them out into the big bad world where they will no doubt be thrown right back at me – but hey!! I live in constant optimistic hope!
Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

Surprise gifts are fantastic. Good luck with the short stories.
Good luck for your short stories! I'm sure you'll be fine, sweet Jenn.. don't you be so harsh on yourself :)
I LOVE that you are eternally hopeful! I hope that it pays off soon and we can say we knew you when!
What a sweet mystery. I know it wasn't me because:
1) I don't have your address.
2) I don't know where Tyneside is located.
3) I don't know what Fritallaries are. I had to look them up. They're amazing - like out of Alice in Wonderland.
I'm glad someone else knew all of these things.
I'm sure your short stories won't be thrown back at you. I know two of 'em have stuck. Good luck with these!
Very mysterious!
I can see a short story in that...
Good luck with sending out the others. At least you're getting them out there.
Cripes. This is the first sign...next to go is bladder control! heh heh.
We look foward to eventually seeing photos of the lovely blooms!...Good luck with the short stories; hopefully, we will get to read them!...Hope you and Charlie enjoy a relaxing Sunday together...xoxo...J, Calle, Halle, Sukki
I suspect that they came from the same person who planted the cuckoo plant in your hanging basket.
Have a nice day, Boonie
That is a mystery, but a nice present to receive.
Good luck with the short stories, I have a few out in the big bad literary world myself at the moment,
We'll keep our fingers crossed.
That's a lovely surprise! Of course now I have to Google the flowers because I have no idea what they are. LOL.
Enjoy your Sunday and give Charlie a cuddle and smooch from me!
How mysterious! This could be the start of a story, you know:)
Twas not me. Ditto Theresa's comments!
How lovely, though. I hope you find out who sent them.
It wasn't us that sent those great seeds.
Good attitude, just keep trying to get those short stories out there. Sure doesn't hurt to keep trying.
Have a wonderful Sunday and the best to you too Charlie.
Could be a friend who admires your green thumb! :)
There used to be a world cat bloggers map on someones blog but unfortunately I can't remember which one. If it comes back to me - this usually happens about 3 a m. I'll let you know!!
Hope you do well with your short stories.
Mystery seeds??? Did you do that Charlie???
Sorry, no help here on the mystery seeds!
Not from me either. How interesting!
We love y'all, and hope to get back into our routine during this coming week........xxxxxxxxx
I hope you're enjoying your weekend now that you're back from Roundabout Land!
I'm glad to be back again and catching up on all my friends.
Dont you just love a surprise. I so hope the stories are a success.. Have a good Sunday.. Hugs GJ xx
I love Fritillaries too, not me who sent them but I do hope they grow successfully for you xx
Ooh, how lovely, I didn't know what Frittythingies were either, but they sound very very pretty!
Great to have you back! I'm not the mystery sender I'm afraid, but it does sound like the set-up for a great story ...
Maybe the reason you don't have any memory of them is because they were sent by Anon E Mouse.
We're sorry we don't get by as often as we would like to. We're really swamped here. Your visits and comments are so appreciated. A bright spot in our day.
Oh, mystery gift! Yay! :)
And, it's your optimism and positive, cheerful personality that makes me SO happy! Your comments on my blog, and your posts are like sunshine and glitter. *hugs*
Thanks for being you.
And, I hope your short stories get snapped up, published and win awards!
Love,
Lola
I got a May Day basket delivered to my door anonymously once - YEARS AGO - and I still scratch my head wondering who it was.
I hope you find out!
