I "right" therefore I am

Bloggie friends I made a boo-boo! LOL!

I loved a pair of swish and tasty clogs I bought online so much (A BARGAIN at 70% off rrp!!!!) that in my enthusiasm I wrote this review on their site:
These clogs fit perfectly. The heel height is just write for everyday use and everyday walking.
(My bold italics!!)

And worse bloggie friends, I used my full name. So everyone and their brother know that I wrote this with that spelling mistake.

Sigh.

Charlie says: I’m hiding here for shame!

Have a melodious Monday everyone!

Hahaha! Don't feel badly, Jennifer. Years ago, while still living in Halifax, I worked for Dalhousie University's continuing ed department. We put out fall/winter and spring/summer brochures with our courses and each brochure was gone over with a fine tooth comb, by many pairs of eyes (I was a course registration clerk, had nothing to do with it). One issue went out with a description of our course on "public" speaking...minus the "l." I'll let you figure that one out. :-D

I hope you're feeling better!

Big smooches and cuddles to sweetie pie Charlie.

We all make mistakes, and I can certainly relate to that one! I made a similar mistake once on my blog, but thankfully I was able to edit it. I'm sure the website would be happy to let you correct it if you contact them!

Charlie, you look adorable in your cube

Tell them it was a pun done on purpose! A play with words! :)
Charlie's looking cute there.

Perhaps you had writing on the brain when you wrote that.

Come out, Charlie! We don't care about no stinkin' speeellling misteakes.

Seems as if we'll have to give your righting its last writes, which of course would only be write. I'll get onto it write away if that's alwrite with you.

Charlie knows what to do for the best, as always.

All the best to you both from Boonsong

LOL... and one more LOL at Kea...

... also don't forget that very public talk given in a seminar by a noted someone (his name escapes me now), continually keeping on saying 'orgasm' instead of 'organism'... while the whole world watched.. on live TV...

(okay, not the whole world, just the CA's- but hey, you get my point!)

MOL! Don't be so hard on yourself! :)

Don't feel bad - I do stuff like that all the time and so does just about everybody else. We understand! Tell Charlie to come out of there, it's not a big deal. :)

I don't think anyone will notice and it could be taken just a cute way of saying write (right). You just have 'write' on your mind. So it is your mind's fault for doing that.
Charlie, you don't have to hide. Just give Mom a hug when she needs it. Good picture of Charlie in the cube.

Had to laugh at your spelling booboo - at least it wasn't a rude one!! Hope you are feeling better than last week.
Charlie that looks a very good place to hide. Hannah and Lucy send purrs to you.

The sad truth is that 90% of the readers won't even notice. I wouldn't worry so much... but when you become a world-famous author, I'm going to dig it up and post it on my blog!

One of my favourite typos on a blog was a reference to the hero being an expert in 'marital' arts...

Moll said...

You know what? I make that EXACT mistake all the time. I just chalk it up to us being such writeous writing babes!

Hey, at least you didn't have righters block! Come on out Charlie, it is OK!

Hahaha! I want to see said clogs. Photo please!

I make mistakes all like that all the time - particularly on blog comments when I'm watching the telly, etc.

Hate it when that happens!

Simon Kewin said...

To err is to be human. We've all done it. The good news is you knew it was a typo. It's those that don't that worry me ...

It'll all be all write.

Deborah Carr (Debs) said...

LOL, that's exactly the sort of thing I'd do, so you have my sympathies.

Rene said...

That's ok. We all make mistakes. :-)

India Drummond said...

I'm a terrible speller, so I have sympathy, plus it gets worse the more tired I am.

I don't think anyone expects perfection on blogs!

Amy & the house of cats said...

I do that kind of thing all the time - partly because my typing is usually going faster than my brain is paying attention to! No big deal!

Charlie is just being a bit overdramatic this time!

Te He He I should not worry, slip of the pen so to speak.. Forgotten in a jiffy.. Hugs GJ x

penandpaints said...

Hehe, so easily done, you must have writing on the brain! I'm always doing things like that especially on blog posts, thank goodness for 'edit post'!
Worry not dear Kitty x

As m.q. said, they won't notice. & I think it's appropriate that you spell it that way because you do write a lot & I imagine you think about writing a lot.

I hope Charlie gets over it! :)

I can sympathize. My spelling is pretty bad and it embarrasses me. I think it is the real reason I like computers. I love my Spell Checker!
I also enjoy reading all of your posts.

Nice to catch up on all your posts since I've been away, Jen! Charlie's photos alwasy bring a smile to my face! I brought my lap top with me on vacation but either had no hotel Wifi connection or no time to read and comment.

I can't live without "spell check" these days. Computers have made my handwriting and spelling ability deteriorate...lol
