A Chip in Time Saves (chapter) 9

Aww lovely bloggie friends! Thank you for thinking of my torn hair yesterday! LOL!!

Not to worry – I have plenty left.

Being different characters when there’s only one of me is sometimes enough to make my mind explode, so what do I do bloggie friends to create more space in my brain?

1) I bid on ebay – Wellington boots! For when it rains. But I’m up against some very determined bidders…. A plague on all their houses!

2) I bake my FIFTH courgette cake in 3 days! And eat the lot fresh from the oven. I love this cake!

3) I watch a clip of a group from the University of Oregon called On the Rocks perform Lady GaGa’s Bad Romance acapella stylie.

Thank you lovely India Drummond for this – if you have 5 minutes – do check the clip here. These guys ROCK!

4) I harass Charlie even more because – and here is the bestest news – his microchip details have finally been updated. It’s taken 12 weeks of waiting on tenterhooks for this to happen. Yay!!

Charlie says: Yes, the certificate seems to be in order. Now be so kind as to return to your Chapter 9. Thank you.

Have a welly Wednesday everyone!

Charlie, you are aware your Mum can now follow your EVERY move. Those chips tell on you all the time!

I'm glad you were able to work through your "sticky" spot yesterday. :) Good luck on getting your boots. I keep looking at boots. I need some heavy ones for riding the bike. I don't like the ones I've been wearing. They aren't very comfortable. Happy Wednesday!

Ummmm- what happened to Chapter 8?
Wellington boots are very practical! Cake however, is just for the fun of it.
And we're glad Charlie's chip is in order.
So let's recap:
It's just a chip off the old boot, you can have your cake and Chapter 9 too!

MOL I am laughing because you are just like Mama with all the eBay bidding, cake baking, you-tube watching and cat harrassing - all when she should be working! But she says its just so much fun.

It's great that Charlie's info finally is updated, wonder what took them so long.

Awwwwwww, Charlie looks chuffed with his details. So long as he's not yelling he's a cat NOT a number!!

Tp sends purrs. She says she doens't miss his sarcasm one little bit and her bottom doesn't look big in anything. And even better all the FOOD's hers now. Ha! Ha! Ha! (She made me write that bit.)

XXXX to you both.

Those sure like great things to get more room into your brain, especially the cake. That sounds Yummy and just eat the whole thing all fresh and nice.
We are so excited that Charlie's microchip is in good shape.
Posh on those other people bidding on the boots. That should fix them.
Have a great day.

We hope you get your wellies but want to know are we getting a flood soon - will wellies be out of stock. I bought some hunters years ago for the snowy weather and they're fine for snow shovelling but they are too heavy to wear to actually walk anywhere in!!
Glad to hear you are still cake baking - it must be a great recipe.

Jenny--LOVE that Bad Romance clip! Did you know I went to the University of Oregon? So even though I can't carry a tune, I hold a little pride there that they are geeky and talented all at the same time. Hope you get your Wellies! (and yay for undated stuff for Charlie--I'm sure he is releived)

Oh my word, I used to be addicted to ebay, especially in the UK. I was able to get much better deals there.

I'm dying to know, though: did you win the wellies?

I only dare go near Ebay ever so often as I get very competitive with the auctions I enter into.

Good for Charlie being all up to date.

I need some boots even though we rarely get rain.

Yes, a plague on all their houses! My husband's bidding on a set of glasses right now and he keeps getting outbid.

Hooray for Charlie's microchip papers!

You are quite the baker! :)
I take it you didn't win the Wellies?
Great picture of Charlie--he looks so calm about everything! Looks like he's thinking, what's that piece of paper doing on my bed?

Wow that is a lot of different techniques to get the other people into your head - most of the time people want the extra people out of their heads! WE think that is why it is so tough to write!

And that is great that Charlie is all updated now - we are sure he is excited about it!

Theresa Milstein said...

Charlie looks so adorable. Thank you for the tail!

Now that I'm going backwards through your posts, I know you get those adorable wellies.

May we have a picture of the cake?
