Ah! Youth!

Bloggie friends!!

So we got to the cinema where Bridesmaids was showing but unfortunately the tickets were sold out.

So we hailed a cab and went into the heart of London – the West End – where we traipsed to 5 cinemas showing this film – all sold out.

On the upside, the last time I scoured the West End was about 15 years before – when I was silly young and never thought twice about spending evenings clubbing and pubbing in one of the most touristy yet fantastically vibrant if rather scary heart of London!

Ah, memories! Ah, youth!

Charlie says: Ah, let me out!

Nearly the weekend, bloggie friends!

Oh, what a shame you missed out on the film.
You make me want to go to London and visit Chelsea. No doubt, they will have a parade in my honour :)
And Charlie wants to go out and check out the West End. What show is on? 'Cats' ?
Take care, eh

so sorry the movie was sold out. You were quite determined going to so many theatres to try and see it!

Isn't it funny when we think back to the less than desirable places we hung out in our 20s that were downright dangerous, but we went there without a care in the world?

Thanks for bringing back some fun memories! ((((hugs)))) to you and Charlie

Sorry the movie was sold out! Glad you still had a nice night out. Yes, I remember those days! We kind of did that last weekend by walking our local bar. It was nice when we had the place to ourselves, but when it got too busy we all walked home.

Yay to the upcoming weekend! Hope it's a fabulous one for you! Hugs to Charlie...:)

We do strange things when we're young!

Clearly some celestial force did not want you to see Bridesmaids. I'm glad you at least got some nostalgia out of the deal!

wow, for some reason I thought cinemas rarely got sold out these days except maybe for the opening days of major blockbusters. Impressive.

What a shame you couldn't get to see you film. Maybe Charlie is off to the cinema. I wonder what he'd go see? Cat Woman?

This post has made me realise that the reason why a youngster like you is calling herself 'Old' Kitty is because you are counting in cat years! ;O)

Sounds exhausting to me but great fun. Did you ever see a movie?? I guess not if you didn't report on it.
Charlie says he wants out please. Have a great day.

I hear that movie is really funny.

Clubbing and Pubbing. That sounds like a country song.
That movie must be very good. Jilda and I saw Larry Crowne this past weekend.
We don't get to the movies much and we really enjoyed this one.
Hope you get to see your movie soon.

I have heard that Bridesmaid is funny-I have yet to see it. Does Charlie want to come and help us unpack-yesterday I was unpacking a box that had a little box full of furry mice-the kitties were in heaven.

Loved, loved, LOVED Bridesmaids, even though I rarely watch chick flicks. I prefer action flicks, myself. But you MUST see Bridesmaids!
