Gibber me timbers!

Bloggie friends!

See that blank word doc behind Charlie? I'm hoping to fill it with gibberish over the weekend!! And not just any ol gibberish - but writerly gibberish! :-)

Will it be for Madeleine's Flowing Fonts blogfest? Or more bad poetry? Or will Charlie scupper my bestest writer-ly intentions by his determination to distract me with his utter cuteness?!?!

Watch this space bloggie, watch this space!

It's Friday!!! It's Friday!!! Notice my huge empty pint glass too? Cheers!!!
:-)

Old Kitty,
I wish you luck in your writing...some days are better than others. The best thing I have done for myself blog-wise is not making a schedule declaring which days I'll post; too much pressure.
Ask Charlie what his opinions are...I'm sure he has some thoughts!
:)

I know I can always come here for a smile, Kitty!
Looks like Charlie might help with the typing as well. "More string please..."

Gibberish? I don't believe it for a second! Enjoy your weekend.

Charlie's kind of outlandish cuteness would be mighty distracting. I'd have to pick him up and cuddle him. Would goggles help you focus on the writing? Oh, and I love your poetry, Old Kitty! It's awesome.

Well, fill up that glass and get your muse on Jennifer...

Have a great (productive) weekend!

Ooh thank you Old Kitty, I am so pleased you're going to enter my flowing fonts contest. I have changed the rules so you can write it up to a max of 500 words (rather than that it has to be 500 words). I'm so excited. Can't wait. :O)

Writerly gibberish is the best kind. :)

And yes, thank Crunchie it's Friday! Darn, I wish I had a crunchie. Or any chocolate. Have one measly Werther and that was given by a colleague!

Do your cat have an obsession with the computer/keyboard, too? I can't keep Little Tart off my laptop!

Charlie, too bad you don't have thumbs, you could start typing on that computer since you hang out there all the time. You really are a cute boy. Hope Mom fills up that screen. Take care and have a fun week end.

Oh Thank you. I was just writing to my Granddaughter and said, I'm trying to decide if it's Friday or Saturday. when you don't work, all days are alike. I wanted to know, looked at your blog and there it was. Friday. It's so amazing, isn't it, that the Universe always gives you what you want.

I recently saw The Kings's Speech too. Loved it. You are lucky to have royalty. Wish we had traditions. I could do with a little pomp.
Love and peace

Charlie's winking at you. I think he's already planned your gibberish - something to do with writing and drinking a pint at the same time. LOL.

Have an awesome weekend, my friend.

Go fill that pint glass woman!

Have a great weekend, I'd chose poetry for that blank screen! (Mslexia is open for submission at the moment...!)

Can I thank you as well for the lovely comment on my blog about my poem being published? It meant a lot, you're very kind, and one of the nicest commenters on the blogasphere. i mean that old kitty. Have a great weekend!

Been a while since I had a pint of ale .... I need to get out more, throw some darts, munch on a bowl of peanuts. There's a pub called Mulleady's within walking distance I should visit soon.

Watch out, Charlie might fill that screen with gibberish if he walks on the keyboarad!

Ps: Tell your mom that her winning prize from Brighton's auction isn't lost...it's still here but she will get it in the mail this week. She mailed 9 items last week, 6 this week and has 9 more items to pack up and mail. She didn't think of all that when she was scouring the house looking for items to donate, hahameow!

I don't know, Charlie. It looks to us like that doc can go either way.
What are you going to do to help your mom along with it?

In the meantime, can't fault you for your resting place. Looks pretty comfy.

What did you write???? How furry exciting this is. I've outlined my second romance, Black Magic and Mayhem at the Red Hibiscus. 10,000 words and only 50,000 more to go. Drop me a line to your work, OK?
