Steamy Glasses

Bloggie friends!!

You so know it’s freezing outside when you enter your home and your eyeglasses steam up asap.

That’s if you wear eyeglasses like moi!

And that’s if you live north of the hemisphere and winter is well and truly settling in.

Am I dreaming of a snowy Christmas? Darn tootin right I am - because such a prospect sings to my romantic heart! But not to my eyeglasses!

Charlie says: I have a long tongue! And I know what you want for Christmas!

Have a melodious Monday everyone!

Ha, Charlie! :) I wear contacts but sometimes glasses, and I know what you mean! Lately my glasses have been steaming up while giving my coughing daughters steam baths in the middle of the night... another sign of impending winter!

Hope you get those sensible shoes!

Charlie...Are you trying to tell us you need a girlfriend or are you telling us you want your mom to have steamy glasses or both? I am a pet sitter and not a match maker but I have been known to find walking partners for almost all of my doggie clients so I betcha I can find the right girlfriend for you but you have to committ to being an on-line boyfriend, can you committ to that?

I often open the dishwasher before the cycle is complete to pull something out and if I'm wearing my glasses they steam up like crazy! Then I grab a rag and use the opportunity to clean them lol.

We got about 10 inches of snow on Friday - don't know if it'll stay or not. Enjoy your Monday! :)

Charlie, you do indeed have a long tongue!

I used to wear glasses and I hated that! Although I had laser surgery to fix my eyes, I think the better solution is to just move somewhere warm. But, I really dislike being cold, personally... :)

It also means, at leat you are entering a nice, warm house. Come in out of the cold and linger awhile! OOOOOOOwheeeee. Sexy red shoes. Charlie knows!

"Sensible" shoes indeed! I hope Santa brings them. :-)

As for cold -- I've heard that things are a bit nippy on your side of the pond. Bundle up and stay warm!

It really has turned cold out there! Wrap up warm, Jen!

Rufus came in after only a couple of hours today to warm himself up on me. If only he wouldn't bite when he's happy.

It's cold here too and we already had our first snow. Unfortunately we don't wear glasses and we don't get to go outside, so it's just white stuff to us...

Hah, which is why I now wear contacts...I got tired of the steam AND the glasses slipping off my nose when I sweat in the summer! lovely photo of the cat :) and white Christmas? yeah, send one our way to North CArolina!

We like the look of those incredibly sensible shoes - is that what Charlie is getting you for Christmas - wish he'd get me some too!!
I sincerely hope we don't get a "White Christmas" but if we do we'll forward it down to you!!

Those are sensible shoes? :)

Too bad it's so cold. Might I recommend a nice tropical scene as computer screensaver or background?

Brrr... It's so cold here. I like the snow and wouldn't mind a bit more of it. But the air is so bone-chilling, I think I need to get some fingerless gloves for when I'm typing. Keep warm. xxx

Oh yeah, I know what you mean! At least the newer plastic lenses clear quicker than the old glass lenses!

So strange to have the UK having a more wintery winter than Michigan! I'm sure we will catch up, but it's a little surreal at the moment. I hope Charlie's paws aren't getting too cold!

You are such a handsome dude, Charlie!!!!!!!!!!!

We would love to have a cold Christmas.....but we would settle for a cool one where the a/c doesn't run, and we would love to import some snow, but that seems to happen only in our dreams....sigh.

We luvsya both bunches.

those sensible shoes will definitely hold out on ice, just remember to dig your heels in while charlie gets a laugh out of it.

I wear specs in the car and when I put them on they certainly steam up in this weather unless I remember to put them under the blowers first. Happy melodious money to you too. My nutty cat eats bread! He bites great chunks out of loaves and steals the bread off bird tables!! ;O)

I wear contacts, so I don't worry about eyeglasses fogging up . . . but that must be bothersome!

I want there to be a white Christmas, too; I love them. :)

Yep! Winter is here (MT.) in full now. Snow, cold temperatures, and mad kitties who have had to stay in at night lately! :-)

How cute!! My glasses are always steaming up (it is especially embarrassing when I open the dishwasher)! I want a white Christmas.
Great blog!

I'm not ready for snow yet! Not after the months and months of blizzards last year. Brrrrr.

Charlie, you know just how to pick out a present from Santa for your Mom. Good taste.
Yes, Mom's glasses steam up when she comes in from the cold outside.
Hope Santa brings Mom those shoes for Christmas and we hope it is white one for ya.

It's so hot and humid where I am that I get steam on my glasses from leaving an air-conditioned vehicle or building and hitting the open air.

Hi Charlie! We love your long tongue! We miss seeing you and your mom since our moms computer at work is all blocked up! We think you are right about what she wants for Christmas!!

And well, since I don't wear glasses (quick, where is some wood to knock) I am not too familiar with the steam thing myself, but I remember it was always a problem for my mom, and it is a problem for Brad too. It seems like they would come up with something to prevent that!
