A Rude Shot of Vitamins

Bloggie friends!!

A rude medical examination, a shot of vitamins, another of antibiotics and some anaemic looking "special diet" food and Charlie is much perkier if a little slimmer than he was!

Charlie says: I don't do diets.

Thank you for all your kind thoughts! Thank you thank you thank you! Nice vet woman thinks it's still his throat virus lingering somewhat. Oh dear. More tests soon! For now he rests.

On the otherhand! I KNOW it's so Christmas when the dreaded workplace email of where to go for our staff christmas meal circulates!! LOL!!

This year I swore not to attend but one of the nicest people I work with is organizing it so what's a girl who would rather wash her hair and dress up the kitty as one of Santa's little helpers to do?

Have a tea for two Tuesday everyone!

Hi there,
It's me, Penny, you know, the Jack Russell. I'm really pleased to know that you are perkier, now.
The silly human that I allow to live with me calls Christmas, 'Boxing Day Eve'.
Take care, Penny

Last year I bought reindeer antlers for my in-laws' Munchkin cat. He hated them so much...I'm definitely going to be putting them on one of the kittens this year...*muwhahaha*

I sure hope you get feeling better really soon Charlie, we're all sending you purrs...even Dad!

Glad to hear Charlie is on the mend.

As for the meal....just put on those party shoes and trip the light fantastic. I know it will be tough...but you can do it!

Feel better, Charlie! Diets stink, they do.

Poor Charlie, losing weight because he's not feeling his best. He's got all that lovely fur.

I hope you have fun at the party, even if you don't want to go. Maybe the girl isn't just nice, but she throws a mean party.

I don't do diets, either, Charlie! Feel better soon!

Christmas will be here before we know it - yikes!

Lots of purrs to Charlie to feel better.

Oh, Kitty, you do make me laugh! If you want to wash your hair and dress up Charlie, go for it! You don't exist for other people and of course they'll miss you but I'm sure they'll cope!

Poor old Charlie-puss. I hope the vitamins and stuff make him feel better real soon. I didn't know cats could get throat viruses.

Paws crossed for Charlie! Was it a B-12 shot? That's commonly given, especially for IBD cats. Let's hope the vet is correct and this does the trick. I'll add Charlie to the Fuzzy Tales Purrs Page!

I am NOT looking forward to Xmas with co-workers. We typically don't do much ourselves, maybe lunch out or over to the boss's place for an evening, so it's tolerable. Trouble is, though, all we have in common is work, really, and it's not much fun to socialize outside of the office. However, it's the stupid potluck I'm dreading and I'm sure the floor will end up having one....shudder.

We're relieved that Charlie is feeling better and we'll continue to purr that he is well and doesn't have to go through many more tests!

Pleased that Charlie’s receiving the attention that he deserves.
Workplace Christmas meals and celebrations prove that “No ‘ell” is a misleading statement.

Have a nice day, Boonie

Charlie! I know if goes against your nature, but try to follow the doctor's orders. Please? We want you to be happy and healthy!

Sending lots of purrs to Charlie - hope this does the trick. We just got notice our party is Dec 5 - I really like all the folks I work with and this is fun to see them all together.

We hope poor Charlie didn't have to have his temperature taken - why do the torturers have to shove it right up there when surely tucked under a pawpit would be more satisfactory! We hope he will soon be feeling better - just think Charlie you can eat as many treats as you like to make you strong again.
The dreaded Christmas work lunch/dinner Jenn - passing round the Christmas cards to colleagues you won't see again until the next one! Can't you throw a sickie?

I understand your dilemma. Some people are just sooo nice. And you feel like a heel if your thoughts are contrary to theirs. Why are some people sooo nice? Why aren't they all mean and grungy so they don't put out the guilts? Good cheers to Charlie. You too, my dear! :)

I know exactly how you feel, Charlie. I didn't have a 'rude examination' but they took three test tubes of my blood this morning. Rude people! You give them what-for next time you see them, which hopefully won't be for a while.

Aah. . .the Christmas workplace party; enough to strike fear into the everyone, including the janitor. Mt advice: find the craziest outfit and drink plenty. Just don't ask for the photographs afterwards. LOL.

How cute! Take a picture for us. I'd love to see a Santa Helper kitty. ;)

Btw, I hope Charlie feels better soon. Poor thing. :(

Charlie needs his rest right now if his diet has changed. Sure hope he's feeling better & can go outside once it stops raining. According to Talli, the weather in your city sounds like being indoors is a great idea!

Well, if a person you like is organizing the Christmas party then maybe it'll be a fun event! :)

So glad Charlie's feeling better!

Office Christmas parties are the devil's work, designed to try to make us all loathe Christmas. I just loathe office Christmas parties!

Still, if you can dress as Santa's helper, that should be fun... right?

Jackee said...

I hope Charlie gets better soon! Christmas parties already? Man, I'm behind!

Get well soon, Charlie! And don't forget to pour on the guilt from your traumatic trip.

Charlie, we are so glad you are getting a little better or at least we think you are. All those shots should make you 100%. And the special diet too. Hope the new diet tastes good.
Take care both of you.

*huggles Charlie* glad he's on the mend!

And don't you HATE THAT? When You'd rather avoid the whole thing but it's somebody NICE counting on you?

Charlie is a beauty! I am sorry to read he is sick. I'm glad he agreed to see the Dr. and is now on some meds. My cats are passing around a very sneezy cold. It seems to be moving from 2 cats to the next 2 and so on.

I hope you have fun at your office Christmas party.

Feel better Charlie!

Charlie,
You know your vet and your mom want you to be healthy and slim and even more handsome than ever, right? Well, that's why the vet gave you a special diet so be sure to follow it because we want the best for you!
By the way, please tell your mom that I was thrilled that she liked my post about how to get yeast out of dog's ears and please tell her that cats get yeast infections too and she can use my tips on you too!

So glad to hear that it is just a case of a lingering throat virus that has Charlie down. I did think he looked like he had lost a little weight, but not to worry, I know he'll gain it all back when he is feeling better.

I can't believe thew Christmas countdown is almost here! Slow down world -- I can't keep up!
