Monday Hugs and Bare Bones

Bloggie friends!

I was going to post a really positive Monday post today because yippeee I finally got my novel's synopsis down to one side of A4 double spaced, 12 point, New Times Roman font! A total of 329 words.

My story stripped down to its bare bones from beginning to end.

Unfortunately Charlie's unwell again. :-(

So we are off to the vets first thing today!

Anyway, here he is Sunday morning looking lively and spry and just gorgeous. But by 11 in the evening he was very depressed, very quiet and hiding under the table after throwing up. The change is just so dramatic!

Hugs to everyone today - to lovely KarenG whose mum suffered a stroke, to beautiful Guinevere whose kitty Buffy went to the Bridge over the weekend, to lovely Sue whose sweet kitty Lucy is hopefully recovering and getting better, to wondeful Kim having a fab auction today for her smoochy Derry, to Sammy and Andy and Mum - facing tough times but fighting on!!

And to all you nanowrimo writers getting your word count ever closer to 50,000!!!

And to all you non-nano writers writing away!

And to all you dreamers and misfits!

And to all you adorable loveable and wonderful kitties, doggies and various pets with your fabulous hoomans!

Me and Charlie (who will get better!!!) would like to give you all Monday hugs!

Lots of healing purrs coming your way, Charlie! We hope the vet can figure out what's wrong and it will be an easy fix! (((hugs)))

Jenn, good luck with Charlie. Lots of purrs and healing Light to him. If this is related to stomatitis, it can be a long road to haul. So hopefully not. Fingers and paws crossed. I know you've had more than enough dealings with vets to realize you sometimes (often) have to find your own answers--and really advocate for your cat. Good luck; please let us know how he's doing.

Huge congrats to getting your novel's synopsis down to 329 words. That's quite impressive, actually, and must be very hard to do!

Charlie MUST get better. Jen says so too!

And many, many congratulations on your synopsis!! A great way to start a new week!!!

I'm saying a prayer for Charlie, bless him. I was just telling my husband that I have to wonder if her tape worm issue is back. She was a stray and has had a few problems. We love her so much....

I'm also saying a prayer for all the people and situations mentioned in your post.

Congrats on the synopsis!

Congrats on getting your synopsis done, poor Charlie, maybe it is the medication that made him ill, hope he feels better soon.

Wishing Charlie the very best. It's so awful when our animal friends are unwell. Take care both. x

Congratulations on getting your synopsis down to 329 words - I know just how difficult that is.

Best wishes to Charlie and anyone else who needs them.

I'm sending both you and Charlie virtual hugs. It's frightening the way they go downhill so fast :(

Congratulations on your synopsis - no easy task!

When in doubt, get your synopsis down to 329 words. Ha Congratulations. Dear Little Puss in Boots.... Lots of kitty hugs and dreams of mice and fish for a speedy recovery.

Oh I am sorry to hear Charlie is feeling poorly. Maybe they have changed the recipe of his usual food? Or he has eaten something in the garden and it disagreed with him? Ginger often bounds out full of spring and then comes back a bit sorry for himself after eating something yuck from someone's bin-bag. Does he ever learn? Nope! Wish Charlie better soon.

Is that a Christmas tree in the picture that you've managed to keep going since last year? Respect!

Hope Charlie gets better very soon.

Congrats on your synopsis!

Poor Charlie - is he like he was before or are his symptoms different this time? We hope your vet can give you something (easy to administer) that tastes nice (for Charlie) that makes him all better quickly. That's what I'm hoping for too (I have bad arthritis in my hands which with sharp claws and syringes to use make for a difficult time!)

Glad to hear you are pleased with your book synopsis - I wouldn't have a clue how to even start one.

BTW can't wait to get in the vets waiting room full of wet barking dogs!!

Hi,
Thanks for coming to my embryonic blog, and for your suggestons, all of which I will follow up. I hope Charlie was OK today, at the vet's.

Congratulations, too, not only on getting your synopsis down to a page - but for having a novel in the pipeline, requiring a synopsis in the first place!!

All the very best with it. I'll keep my eye on your blog for any ecstatic announcements in due course :-)
Best wishes and thanks again
Karla

Poor Charlie! It sounds indelicate, but have his rear glands checked. I have a cat very much like Charlie and he had an abscess in one of his rear glands which made him run a fever and be very lethargic. Because of all his fur I didn't notice the swelling! The vet had to lance it open to drain and out him on antibiotics for a week. Now I check that area often and even bring him to the vet to have the glands manually emptied every now and then.

Hope all will be well with dear Charlie!

Poor Charlie, the imprisionment begins...again. Has one of your neighbors put any kind of pesticide or poison down? Perhaps he's getting into that?

Congratulations on your synopsis! I admire your work ethic.

You're so sweet, Jenny--I really hope Charlie just ate something that disagreed with him and he is on the road to recovery now.

Hi Charlie! You look so lionesque in the sunshine in that picture! Hope you get better real soon! :)

I’m of he belief that a synposis is harder to write than the manuscript. Congratulations for condensing yours to less than 400 words!

I hope Charlie feels lively and spry again soon.

Hi there,
Yes, it's Penny, the Jack Russell dog, here. I've managed to take over Gary's keyboard so I could paws and then type something:-)
Charlie, I hope you are much better now. I'm really glad all those nasty fireworks have finally stopped.
Gary tells me that a lot of humans do this NaNo writing thingy, this time of year. Silly man thought it had something to with 'Mork and Mindy'..'Nano, nano..' ha, ha.
Pawstive wishes, your way, Penny
