When I type “all my fault”, Word 2007 corrects it to “my entire fault”.
How bizarre?!?! Is that right? Oh dear!! LOL!
The Machines are not only speaking to me they correct my grammar too!
Anyway! Thank you so much for not throwing flour and eggs at me as I ambushed you with my logline! LOL!!
I really appreciate all your comments – all very helpful and hopeful! Yay! You are all super duper stars!
Charlie says: I am not impressed by The Eye.
Take that silly Eye!
It's a chocolate Halloween eye!

I always disable the grammar check. What does it think it knows, anyway? Stoopid grammar.
I've been trying to keep Mack from nicking my Reese's peanut butter cups out of the bag...a constant battle...
Word is correcting your grammar? Do you have it on some weird setting or something? Mine turns my bad spelling red and corrects my formatting (which I hate, by the way), but it hasn't corrected my grammar...yet!
Get that eye, Charlie!
Lousy computer...next it'll start critisizing your housekeeping.
Go charlie!
Machines talk to you...interesting, and the correcting- yup I get that alot...lol
Word can be annoying sometimes. You can probably turn the grammar bit off in the options and then it won't auto correct. I might be wrong though.
Ooo...that eye is spooky!
Okay, I wondered about that eye for a moment, thought perhaps it was a toy for Charlie, glad it's *chocolate*. LOL.
You can turn off that grammar correction in Word, I think. At least you used to be able to in the older version, if I recall.
That Word!
I wrote up a sheet of questions for students to answer about The Dark Ages. Word changed Clovis to Clover and I didn't notice it. A student did.
I bet Charlie wishes the eye were full of catnip.
Hi, what is it with us all and the 'one eye' thing at the moment, LOL.
Read your logline, intriguing, love it, cant wait to read it.
There is a writers site at the moment running a first chapters competition, would you enter it?
Inkwell at

Who would say "my entire fault"????
It sounds like Microsoft has contracted their grammar program out to a company that does Chinese instructions.
Go Charlie!
Grammar is in the eye of the beholder...and right now Charlie has his eyes on the eye!
Enjoyed reading your post very much - it's funny because I'd typed something the other day and when I read it back I was convinced it wasn't what I'd typed!! Hope it doesn't tell everyone when I haven't hoovered the carpet!! haha!! Glad to hear that Charlie is playing with a chocolate eyeball.
I love chocolate eyes. I still think they're a clever novelty this time of year. ANd perhaps machines are getting a little too smart. First, grammar corrections. Nect, they'll be telling us what we can and cannot do.
Hmmm..... sounds like the premise for another book.
I love the cat and the eyeball, but seriously, I would tell your computer to keep out of your writing. What does it know about creativity and greatness!?
We like reading your loglines, poetry, & excerpts! Oh, & your blog, too! :)
Forget about the grammar checker, use it when you're doing your first draft only. It can be completely wrong at times, & other times it is helpful. But it's certainly not perfect!
Charlie that eye is a very interesting eye to bat around.
I think you should be able to write what ever you are writing how you want to do it without a darn machine interfering with it. Can you imagine what a machine would do with all the cat language??
Take care Charlie. Go get that eye.
Mama says her grammar is terrible so maybe Word will start talking for her totally! MOL
Hi, handsome Charlie, you're looking mighty fine. Love to both of you.
Urgh! I hate those auto corrections! You should have seen the mess it would make of things when I was writing fan-fiction. Mucked up those Harry Potter words like mad!
*giggles at Charlie playing with the eyeball*
Hello! Thanks for bidding on Sammy & Andy's auction! Of course we can ship to you!!!
Come and visit uSSSSS!
charlie is just too cute. He should meet Flower...
erhm. I mean, not. :D
Word is always correcting my grammar, too, and I HATE it. I mean, when we're writing dialogue, characters say "all my fault" not "my entire fault." mbrrr... I'm w/you on that one~ :o) <3
I hate grammar check and turn it off!
Ah, did Charlie get the eye, then? Such a sweet thing.
But I must say your computer needs a bit of work! My entire fault, eh? Silly word processors. Does it complain about your outfit, too? Gee whiz...
Don't listen to Word - it's a conspiracy!
Word doesn't know what it's talking about! You make it do what you want it to!
I love the pictures of Charlie and the eye!
We agree do not listen to WORD!
:-/
We are purrin for all of our furfriends and their pawrents...it hurts to see so many so uncertain.

I see dat cat Charlie likes to paws on dat there keyboardy type thingy-me-jig.
Have a peaceful and positive day.
With respect and kind wishes, Gary:-)
That eye is scary! I think Charlie should do away with it!
Grammar check, schmammar check. Turn it off!
Wow! If my computer could type for me I'd save a lot of time! I'm a slow two fingers "hunt and peck" typist.
That is a scary eye..good thing Charlie took care of it for you!
Word can be so fussy . . . but it's never changed that for me! Still, I leave on the Grammar Check, since I find it's usually helpful.
Cool eye. :D
Hmm, I ignore that old computer!
Nubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Hate it when the 'puter does that. Wondered about the eye! Thanks for coming by both blogs for the peace blogblast! Lots of peace sent your way.
