Brainiacs

Bloggie pals!

You may or may not know this but I work for a university and came across these marvellous PhD research subjects in the field of chemistry!
 *************************
Photocatalysis with Enzymes for Future Energy Technologies

Self-Assembled Cellulose Structures for Sustainable Photonic Technologies

Artificial Photosynthetic Systems for Solar Energy Conversion
 *************************

No, I haven’t a clue what any of these entail but don't they just sound ever so fascinating?

Charlie and Gumtree say: E=MC2, or Eating equals Munchies and Chicken for Two.

Have a great week everyone!

I like Gumtree and Charlie's translation better.

Charlie and Gumtree, you're looking pretty cute there! Thanks for checking on us. We're still in transit unfortunately. Hope you two and your mom have a great week!

By the way, Annie likes eating munchies and chicken for two too and she's only one.

They sound solar...anything involving the sun is good in our minds!

Those do sound pretty fascinating. My only problem with that is that sometimes there are really fancy titles for things that are actually very boring and not good.

ANGEL ABBYGRACE said...

We think Gumtree and Charlies's thesis would be more interesting!

Susan Kane said...

Seriously, let's bring those titles down the the ones that really matter!

I like Charlie and Gumtree's equation--at least that one makes sense!

we love Charlie and Gumtree equation more!!! they should publish a Phd research also

Hahahaha! We love your take on E=MC2, Charlie and Gumtree!

LOL, I love reading papers too. Some are def "niche"

I think I would have liked the research subjects more if they were about Self-Assembled Cats, Artificial Cats, Enzymes For Future Cats, Sustainable Photonic Cats, etc. :)

Cute picture. My puppy would say the same thing as Charlie and Gumtree.

Those sound fascinating and good for our planet! Have a good week! :)

Wow, these words are all Greek to me! Chemistry was one of the subjects I never liked..haha. But E=MC2 formula, that I like! This is lovely fluffy photo of you two. Just had chicken? :-)
Have a wonderful new week!!

Your cats look quite content and I have no idea what any of that is either!

My eyes cross just reading those. LOL.

Have a lovely week--all of you! :-)

E+MC2 - that sounds very impressive - can Charlie and Gumtree whisper what that means to us please. We'd like to be able to surprise Mum who doesn't have a clue!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

Have a great week too!!!!!!!!!

I like the feline equation :)

Crystal Collier said...

LOL! Eating equals munchies... Hey, that's not such a bad idea. Headed to raid my cupboards...

Jans Funny Farm said...

Charlie, you are the brainiest cat we know to have figured that out. We hope you get extra munchies and chicken.

Jans Funny Farm said...

PS: Sorry, Gumtree. You're the brainiest cat too. You helped figure it out.

Lydia Kang said...

That equation would work very well for them. :)

Sent you an email. Sorry about my blog--I've fixed it.

I'm with Charlie and Gumdrop. I'll leave the futuristic science to those guys who can create formulas, postulate theories and add a column of numbers so they get the same answer twice.

Soggibottom said...

It's a whole language unknown to lower elements. Have a great week too guys, snuggle in cos it's going to be wet outside. :-) xxx

Chemistry has always been a field that fascinates me.
I can see that Gumtree and Charlie share my fascination. Ha!

With names like that they must be very expensive research programs!

My kitties agree wholeheartedly with Charlie and Gumtree.

Have a wonderful week!

if I only knew that physics where this easy.

Teresa Ashby said...

Blimey! At least I can understand Charlie and Gumtree's :-) x

Huh? I had to read those titles several times.

Deniz Bevan said...

Ooh, they do sound exciting! "Self-Assembled Cellulose Structures" sounds like organ growth - wouldn't it be amazing if we could regenerate some of our vital organs?

Maria McKenzie said...

And I never thought I'd ever be able to understand E=MC2. The Charlie and Gumtree definition makes perfect sense!

"E=MC2, or Eating equals Munchies and Chicken for Two." That is so funny and excellent!! I love it.

Now Charlie and Gumtree have the right equation! Numm, numm.

Helena said...

Kitty dear -- Sorry I'm late visiting, but I was out of town. Now I'm back and so happy that Charlie and Gumtree are so smart they understand the real meaning of E=MC2.

Me, I have no idea what those super smart titles mean.

meowmeowmans said...

I actually sort of understand what those PhD research topics mean, and they ARE impressive and cool. :)

We think Charlie and Gumtree's equation is better than any of those, though. By far! :)

I like Charlie and Gumtrees explanation-smart fellows!

Charlie and Gumtree look pretty happy together.

Hi Old Kitty - it's a good thing you go out (theoretically) to work .. at least Charlie and Gumtree can get on with the serious researching of dreams!

Cheers and well now I'm lost in the world of chemistry .. Hilary

How did I miss this one?

My husband is a scientist. I don't know what he and his scientist friend are talking about.
