Darkspell, Fangs, Rumpy pumpy and Bad Poetry!

A Bad Halloween Poem by Old Kitty

It’s time to stir the witch’s brew
And bake a cake with a spider or two.
It’s time to dress up as a ghoul or a monster
And turn the cat into a bright orange lobster!

It’s time to go out and trawl the streets
Trick or treating for some gooey sweets!
It’s time to turn off the lights and stay unseen
It’s time to scream out “Happy Halloween!”

Charlie says: I search for treats only.

Bloggie friends!

Do you like magic? Here is lovely Elizabeth Mueller’s book Darkspell launched today!

Winter Sky believes she is everything ordinary . . .until she is kissed by Alex Stormhold. As seer of Stormhold Coven, Alex is sworn to be Winter’s protector against the darkness that hunts her. Violently thrust into a magical realm she always thought impossible, she stumbles upon a disturbing secret of her own. Will love prove thicker than magic?

Available here.

Or vampires? Gorgeous Theresa Milstein's story Allured is in Fangtales "an anthology of vampire tales for teens".

Available here

And if you like a bit of rumpy pumpy Texan style - good ol meat eating "lettuce is the devil disciple" Travis Erwin's book Feedstore Chronicles will be launching on 1st November! Details here.

Phew! Off I go to make way for November at last! But just to say: I love my vegetables and am a proud vegetarian! LOL! Take care y'all!

A very creepy, spooky poem.
Actually, you basically described a normal situation in this lil' ol' English town. Gosh, now you've got me typing in American, y'all :)
Take care and Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet spooky star, says 'Arf! Arf! and.........BOO!

Charlie please tell us Jenn doesn't make you go out and hunt for your treats - look out for a treat fairy hiding in a plant pot cos we're sure she will give you a bag full - all for yourself.

I loved your Halloween poem.
HI, I am Fern and a new friend. I am an animal lover big time. I love all animals even the wild ones!! I am with out a dog right now b/c I lost my long time friend Bambi at all most 14 years old and she wasn't a small dog!! I adopted a little mutt in Aug. but she had to go back to the rescue group b/c she bite me everyday and she dug out everyday and it was safer for both of us for her to go back, it broke my heart!!
Do come and meet me.
xx, Fern & Happy (Cat)

Bloggers are publishing so many good books lately! These all look wonderful!!

And Jen and I LOVE your Halloween poem. Hope you had a good Halloween Eve. My Halloween Queen youngest daughter did!! Jen and I went up north the Sunday before the big night and saw her house that she decorates inside and out every year. She outdid herself this time!! I posted her grim reaper again. Every blogger who stopped by my blog a year ago thought it was THE BEST.

Hope you're having a BEST week. How is the weather where you are?

Hi Charlie and bean! I think that is a great poem. Much better than I could do for sure. Halloween is our favorite holiday. I doesn't come with the baggage (aka family obligations) that other ones do. Of course, I still have to wear a bizarre costume but oh well.

Thanks for coming to my party! I hope you're having a great time!
