Bloggie friends!
Are you able to fit a whole story on the back of a postcard? The answer is YES, YOU CAN!
Here’s mine! LOL!
And the lovely Ellie Garratt’s and gorgeous Margo Benson's too.
But typical me I’m reading my story and thinking – yikes – it ain’t finished, needs more work – why on earth did I send this story, tis melodramatic rubbish...!
Ahem.
Charlie says: You get postcard, I have toys and treats.
Thank you wonderful Suzanne of Four Crazy Cats for this very special surprise for Charlie! As you can see he couldn’t wait for me to open the box properly - he went completely doollally!
Happy Monday everyone!

Kitty, that was good! And cold - over without a backwards glance.
Looks like Charlie will have fun spreading those toys all over the house!
Ha, that's so cool!
Also, I love the idea of sticking a story at the back of a postcard. I have no idea why... It just appeals.
mmm nom that carrot a bit for me!!
*lol*
Love Charlie.
Ernest Hemingway was once taunted by a critic to write a one paragraph short story.
He wrote :
For sale. Baby shoes. Never worn.
The critic never wrote back. Roland
You have a very cool postcard and Charlie has very cool gifts. Life is good!
Jen your postcard had me sputtering with laughter at the end! You do have talent!
oh, good luck to you! Those feelings of self doubt are the burden we all share. I'm sure it's wonderful. Scratches to Charlie~ :o) <3
Very Cool, Jennifer! Yay for Charlie winning a prize!
Woo Hoo !!! Concats for your presents, Chalie
Have Fun !!!! and Have a nice day

What a great site! Thank you for finding it.
They don't publish every story they get, you know...
Hi Old Kitty .. that was great - and just so - as that's life at that age .. a real story on a postcard ..
well done - have a good week - Hilary
I said "Yikes!" but not because it's "rubbish" as you put it, which it's not, IMO. But because....ugh! How creepy and inappropriate of the woman/mother. Acck.
No "yikes" or "ugh" or "acck" for Charlie--rather, hurrah! What a wonderful gift package Suzanne sent!
Have a great week, Jennifer!
That looks fun. I might give it a go.
Loved the story, Old Kitty. And thanks for the link to the site. Not one I'd heard of before.
I liked the story... I like how you leave the 'catch' for the very last line, Jenn. Impressive :)
What a lucky Charlie chap!
So was your MC like Mrs Robinson in the graduate? Ooh great story
We thought the story was awesome!
Charlie, it looks like you hit pay dirt! What great pressies!
ooh great story! Thanks for the read:)
We enjoyed reading your story Jenn - and Lucy and Hannah paid special atention to Charlie's picture with his "things". They want to come over later to play if he doesn't mind.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Oh what nice pressies! :o)
hmmmm, how about:
Veni, Vidi, Vici.
Or has that already been done?
Loved it. You got the voices down just perfectly and the ending made me laugh.
Great story! Loved it. And lucky Charlie. He looks sooo happy. =D
I love your story! :)
Ooh, I love that it's the woman doing the leaving. :) Great story, Old Kitty!
That is really neat, to be able to do that on the back of a postcard. Well done.
Charlie, just look at all your treasures. That is so great to get all those presents. Hope you have one heck of a week. Take care.
Oooh, Kitty! You bad woman!!! Oh I see - it's fiction. Yeah, I knew that.
Like the story and I like the idea of that site.
Love the postcard fiction! And Margo's too. :o) Definitely not rubbish.
Charlie is one lucky cat, he even gets packages from bloggie friends! :o)
Have a lovely day!

I didn't know you have a son????!!!
YAY for Charlie and his wonderful prezzies!!!
xoxoxo
Good story! At first I thought the idea was to write YOUR story on a postcard - imagining you with a 15 year old lover, my goodness - but I've taken another look now! haha!
Whoo hoo to Charlie!
That was a great story, brill :-)
Oh my goodness, what a funny spin at the end. I guess you CAN write a story on the back of a postcard.
What a lovely present, Charlie!
Great story in a short space. Very intriguing.
