Hands up those who fell for the hoax news item yesterday that reported how users of Internet Explorer have lower IQs!
*Me - waving both my arms in the air, like I just don’t care”! LOL!
Well of course I believed it – the BBC reported it!! - cos I’m so gullible and I do prefer IE to Firefox and others.
Come to think of it, maybe there is some truth in this, seeing how I got completely and utterly hoaxed!
Oh well! LOL!
Charlie says: I should be in Bora-Bora!
The fabulous Goodness Gracie is hosting a Bora Bora Day – a day where pets leave their humans behind and chill out on Bora Bora!
Unfortunately I don’t have photoshop or photoshopping skills so poor Charlie will just have to dream on! LOL!
Yay for more August silliness! It's such fun!

I was traveling yesterday or I might have fallen for the hoax also. My cat sleeps about 23 hours a day so she doesn't have time to vacation.
hmmm...Charlie,
you're in Bora Bora already since you're with your wonderful mom..
love;
~mq~
Mom just read about that hoax on a security blog she follows. There are just too many stunts out in the internet world now...
*sigh*
Hello handsome Charlie.
purrs
>^,,^<

Well my word if the BBC said it was true why wouldn't you believe it! When have they ever been wrong? I am quite sure Charlie would not like Bora Bora. Too many pests!
I'm a fan of Firefox, IE just doesn't work on my laptop. There's a lot of hoaxes going around these days it appears. Like the false agents emailing self-published authors and asking to represent them.
Ah hoaxes! First, someone laughs at your expense and then you laugh at yourself for falling for it ;)
Clearly the smart people use Firefox. Wait, what? It's a hoax? Maybe the truth is that they all just suck the brain juice out of normal humans.
I didn't hear of this hoax! But I likely would have ignored it since I tend to use Chrome. Ha!
I saw that - figured it was too dumb to be true!
Bet Charlie would enjoy a Bora Bora day.
I saw the article title but didn't read it because I thought that it just sounded too crazy - it is kind of nice to hear it is a hoax, but I just don't understand the point behind it.
And Charlie, I wish I could go to Bora Bora too - Barney went (briefly - my photoshop skills are not that great either). Oh, but if you ever want to try in the future try www.fotoflexer.com - that is the site I used until I got photoshop and it is good for editing and pretty easy to use (there are other good sites too, that is just the one I know of since I used it).
Charlie may suprise you and teleport to Bora-Bora without your knowledge. MOL
Mom said some times, News is crap : )
Yep ! who care about it
Have a great day, Charlie
xoxo
Bora-Bora -- isn't that a long way from London?
No, no, Charlie must go to Bora Bora with his friends. Check your email and be sure to leave your link at Gracie's. Her post should pubhish in just over an hour, unless blogger forgets to auto post.

i missed out on it.... I think I am glad about that.
Such fun on Bora Bora!
Heres a post you would love from Barbara,
http://barbarascully.blogspot.com/2011/08/maggie.html
a tale about a rescued kitten.
Never heard of the hoax.
Charlie, come to Bora Bora anyway! Jan had to PhotoShop for us--the mom was only able to do a collage. She's not terribly skilled, obviously.
She didn't even hear of the supposed news item re: IE, so that tells you how out of touch she is. :-P
BTW, she's a Firefox and Chrome gal anyway! Ha!
Thank goodness I'm a Firefox user! That's so funny, I didn't think the BBC had it in 'em.
Why on earth would anyone bother to find out something like that? I could see a study to find out which news viewers are smarter. But Internet Explorer vs. Safari and Firefox? What does the world gain from such useless knowledge?
Hold your head high because you were smart enough not to think of doing such a foolish study.
Mum has no photoshop skills either so we are at home but to make it worse it's raining!! Charlie if you want to hitch a lift up here we can swap notes on our mums.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I don't use IE and I wasn't hoaxed! (But then I didn't see the report)
Oh Charlie, I'll come get you, you're missing lots of fun!
I kinda retreated from the world yesterday so I missed out on Bora Bora hoax. Maybe I should retreat more often. Ha
Manzanita@Wannabuyaduck
hehehe, we seldom believe anything that is reported!!!!! Today's world is a total mess, but even so,we're happy that we live in it.
We love you two bunches and bunches.
BTW....we sent you an email earlier....hope the cybergremlins don't grab it and that you get it.
*giggles*
I find gullible people charming...
And my pets would LOVE a vacation, and Cali definitely will pack a large enough suitcase for me to go. (but I can't do photoshop either)
LOL! Oh, Flower would so leave us for Bora Bora right about now...
I've been using Google Chrome for a while, and i like it. But I used IE for YEARS. how funny~ <3
Charlie, catch the next plane down. We would love to give you donkey ride or Joe would love to give you a ride. Our Mom is very gullible too so don't feel bad. We hadn't heard that rumor though. Take care and have a fun day.
I'm a Firefox man myself.
I hate hoaxes! There's no shame in assuming that if the BBC publish something it's probably well-founded. What would happen if we all disbelieved everything?
I'v just seen you at Bora Bora and have saved you a spot on my sunbed. There are plenty of crabs so let the party begin.. Hugs GJ xx
You are hilarious!
I hadn't heard about the hoax--but I've been duped by hoaxes like that before. :P It makes sense to believe something, particularly if it's on a reputable site like the BBC.
I wasn't aware of this hoax. I would have fallen for it, myself as well.
Wish I could go to Bora Bora...
