Bloggie friends!
I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Would you believe it’s already Monday?!?
A little trivia I discovered about myself:
I like my Favourites column to the left of my screen and not to the right. I discovered this fact as I foolishly upgraded to Explorer 9 who decided to move my Favourites column to the right.
My brain could not cope with the move and went into meltdown. Explorer 9 was swiftly uninstalled to protect my sanity!
Do you think it’s because the left side of the brain supposedly likes order and logic while the right is for art and aesthetics?
Either that or I’m an old fogey, stick-in-the-mud and likes things just so!
Charlie says: No mud here, just dirt.
I’m offline on Tuesday, bloggie friends! See y’all on Wednesday and beyond!

I hate when updates make things different or less 'me' too!
Don't have a meltdown! What would we do without you?
WE do not want IE9, not that we use IE but we have heard not such good things about IE9,we know one day we will probably have to update but for now we are preferring not to.
See you Wednesday!
Hello Handsome Charlie.

I'm not terribly happy when Windows, or other software upgrades, reorganize my space either! we can be fuddy-duddies together!
I don't know what the reasoning behind it is, but I'm with you! Don't go messing with my set up!!!
Charlie! Get out of that dirt!!!
xoxoxo
i like my sidebar on the left side hehehe
happy monday Charlie & Jen
I hope your brain gets rested while you're offline! Help her out Charlie!!!
Charlie, You should do roll before you get inside the house, It's always good to bring nature to indoor : )
My mind rejects change on a regular basis. See ya on Wednesday.
IE is evil. Use CHROME! It's heavenly.
We like it on the left - I guess it is all what we get used to. Happy Monday!

It's not your age! I like things a certain way or else I get quite antsy.
Someone suggested I re-install IE8, which I'm going to do later today. Don't like IE9 or Google Chrome.

Well, at least you can spell "Favourites", unlike Internet Explorer! I'm sure it's the left-brain/right-brain thing and not the old fogey thing!
old? a spring chicken like you?
I think it is just what you get used to... Also, I read somewhere that it takes like three weeks to retrain your mind to a change. That is why if you move where you keep something, you keep going back to the first place initally...
Well, I don't like my favourites showing up in any column. I use both Firefox and Chrome and hide bookmarks so that I have a full screen. :-)
At least your work Monday is half-way gone by now...Mine's just starting, here across the pond!
I usually use the Firefox browser and they recently changed the interface. It's driving me crazy too!
You always get such wonderful photos of Charlie!
I think we read from left to right, so the right side of the screen feels farther away.
Oh Charlie, you are having such a great nap and I am sure glad it isn't in the mud. Hope you have a wonderful week. Take care.
I think it's the former. At my ripe old age of 37 I'm the same way. My brain gets used to a certain organization and that's how I like it to stay.
Unless of course I'm feeling wildly spontaneous and need to change life up a it. Hey, it happens. ;)
Happy Monday to you!
Looks like Charlie will need some serious tidying himself, or else your blankets like in the previous pic will be covered in dirt. But we all know Charlie would never do anything like that. You did remember to feed him, right?
I use a tiny little laptop for my personal websurfing so I don't usually put my favorites on the screen but I can see how I'd find it an issue. Have a great day off.
I hate it when things move round the screen when I haven't asked for them to. I won't be getting version 9 then cos I like mine on the left too!
Charlie you look very relaxed but we wonder if you've considered a fig leaf!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I switched my columns on Blogger a while back and it totally made me feel weird! But in the end, I decided to keep it and I'm happy with it all on the right now.
:)
It can be disconcerting at 1st as you're used to the left. But soon you'll adapt.
Glad Charlie's enjoying his dirt. Then he'll have to clean himself for quite some time.
Ah, Charlie! I wuv you!
Small changes freak me out.
I hate it when the computer moves things to places I didn't put them. If that's where I'd wanted them, I'd have moved them myself (If I could only work out how, that is)
why bother with resource eating pigs like internet explorer, when you can use mozilla firefox, apple safari, and google chrome, instead?
they're MUCH smaller, and TONS faster!
I like my things the way I like them, and sometimes only know until I see it another way. So I can completely relate!
I like my blog posts on the left and there's a specific place for everything in the dishwasher.
This beautiful weekend did go by too fast. Have a happy week!
That's funny, we really do like things a certain way. I tried uploading a new template a few months ago and it messed with everything. Like you, I uninstalled it.
Glad you recovered from your meltdown!
IE 9 created havoc on my notebook!!
It freezes 99% of the time!!
I have problem with left and right - big problem. It takes me a few seconds to process before I can react!!!
At least your brain seem to be much better than mine! heheeh!
I'd like to think, we are just special!
You know- we are humans- and many of us enjoy our routines just so.
I'm definitely an old fogey who likes things just so - nobody better try changing my blog format around!
It would ruffle my feathers too. I don't know why sometimes they have to change things it disrupts the balance. I'd roll in the dry leaves with Charlie, it I were you, that'll blow away the anguish. ;O)
Ah love Charlie the way he's rolling around in the dirt. I hope he cleans up real good!
Have a great Tuesday offline.
I'm going to rub your belly, Charlie! It's too much temptation! I don't put favorites anywhere! I need an open screen...
I think we are all born with an innate spatial preference for how we like to arrange things - both our furniture and our computer and internet desktops! I have never liked things centered. I am a naturally skewed person!!! he he
I've gotten used to switching to a new browser. It just takes time. I feel discombobulated at first.
I don't like it when programs change things around, either! It's so frustrating to have things move around without warning. :P
yep, I'm not a fan of change as well. Hehehe.
It is always hard to adjust to change ....I just remind myself that new challenges keep my brain lubricated ;)
