Fashionably late!

Bloggie pals!

Belated happy National Libraries Day (6 February)!

Of course I celebrated by renewing my very overdue library membership at my local library! Yay!

Charlie says:  better late than never!

Speaking of late - guess what I'll be doing today!!?

I'll be catching one of the very last showings of The Hobbit: the Desolation of Smaug in the cinema!! In super glorious 3D! *Squeal!!*

I hope to catch up with all your blogs after!

Have a fun-packed week y'all!

I was going to catch "Catching Fire" of the Hunger Games trilogy, but the movie was downtown and I couldn't find a parking spot in time! Rats! Next time I'll go to one of those suburban movie places with lots of parking.

I'll give away the ending: Bilbo and the dragon decide to be pals and solve mysteries together after a pint at the pub.

I saw The Desolation Of Smaug in December. It's not as magical as it used to be, but still a very good movie. Have a lovely week.

Have a wonderful new week!!

Have fun at the movies! I actually didn't know library cards could expire. I got one when I was a kid, I upgraded when I became an adult, and when I'm old I'll use my gold card as a library card. That's all I knew. I don't think mine actually expires.

Wahoo! I liked that movie. --And library renewal? That's like more important than a paycheck, isn't it? (I know my kids think so.)

~Sia McKye~ said...

My library card doesn't have and expiration date. Been using the card more this past year since budget has been tight.

So, what's your opinion of the movie, Kitty?

I haven't had a chance to see a movie at the theater in a year. I told hubs we have to change that. Some movies aren't interesting enough for me to pay the ticket price. Those I wait for the DVD release. But there are a few coming up I'd like to see. And I want lots of buttered popcorn while I am. :-)
