Bloggie friends!
Here is my first crop of strawberries fresh from my potted strawberry plant! Yay!
Er... I didn't mean to advertise the brand of honey! Whoops! LOL!
Charlie says: I help you write your story with my back foot.
Pic taken 23rd June! He is so himself again - playing, jumping, eating, playing, jumping!
Unfortunately Charlie's tested positive for the calici virus. Will see the vets soon to discuss his palliative care. In the meantime, I write, write like the wind!
Have a great week, everyone!

Glad Charlie is feeling like himself again. We know lots of kittehz that live with the calici virus. Sorry to hear he has this, but hope he can be treated for symptoms. Purrs, purrayers, and headbutts.
Pee Ess - the Mommy is very impressed with your crop of berries!
Hey Old Kitty,
I just love strawberries and thanks for such a sweet reminder.
Hope all will be okay with Charlie.
You write like the "wind". Sorry, a bit too much information! :)
See ya,
x
Congratulations on your first crop of strawberries! I'm thinking home made strawberry shortcake. :-)
Lots of purrs from the boys for Charlie, but as I've previously said, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
And of course HURRAH for "writing like the wind!"
oh dear Charlie we are sorry to hear about the diagnosis, but we are glad you are now back home and all better.
(((xoxoxo)))

Wonder if Charlie is trying to write his cato-biography?
Praying Charlie's treatments will keep him going for many, many more years!
Kitty, so glad Charlie is on the mend...I bet he was grumpy at the vet...if someone was pulling out my teeth, I might be a bit grumpy as well! Poor baby...take good care of him and those strawberries look scrumptious!
Fresh berries! Yum.
Purring for Charlie's continued health--he seems ready to rule the world again; or at least HIS world.
Aww, we're so sorry to hear Charlie is sick. Sending our purrs his way that he'll keep playing and being happy for a long, long time!
Mom says the strawberries look very yummy!

Nice berries! I sure hope you keep feeling better Charlie!
yummy strawberries, and from your very own garden! How delicious - and free!
So glad Charlie is helping you :)
cats are good that way.
those strawberries look so good! Poor kitty--hope Charlie is better soon.

I love strawberries and if I didn't have a black thumb I would totally grow some! I'm glad charlie is feeling better.
The strawberries look so delicious! We are sending lots and lots of get well purrs to Charlie!
I will say large prayers for Charlie to respond miraculously to the treatments. May this new week bring you only happy surprises! Roland
We're glad to hear Charlie has recovered nicely :) hopefully calicivirus won't cause any major complications.
Bone Appetite on the strawberries :)
Hi Old Kitty - wish I was there munching on those fresh strawberries - just delicious straight off the bush.
Good old Charlie - and so pleased he's feeling better, even if the vet has detected something - which I hope they can help you sort out.
Charlie being better and helping you write strikes me as the best deal ..
Cheers and enjoy this sunny week - Hilary
It's great to hear that Charlie is feeling more himself again. I'm not sure what the calici virus is, but I hope he will continue to be okay.
And those strawberries are awesome!!! My strawberries are tiny!
So glad Charlie is himself again, and here's keeping my fingers and toes crossed that his care for that nasty virus goes splendidly well. Meanwhile, yay for you for writing!
Home grown strawbs! Nothing tastes better!
Good to see Charlie so content!
Delicious strawberries!
So glad Charlie is playing, jumping and eating - and writing with his back foot - sending positive wishes and thoughts to him and you xx
Sorry about Charlie being diagnosed with the calici virus...but great news that he is feeling better. :)
Love strawberries!
So glad Charlie's over his tooth probs - hope the virus isn't too worrying. I also write like the wind sometimes - but I'm not saying what sort of wind :-)
Happy writing, Old Kitty, happy strawberry eating - happy Monday!
Awww well I hope Charlie's problems aren't too bad and it isn't too expensive to help him. Though a cat is of course always worth it :) Good job with the strawberries too. Every time I try to grow a plant it just dies :(
Poor Charlie. Hope he isn't feeling too sorry for himself.
Lovely strawberries. Unfortunately the squirrels get most of ours before we get a look in :-(
I bet Charlie gets better dental care than I do. lol Glad he's back in action...er, uh...action in Charlie terms anyway. ;)
The strawberries look great!
We are so sorry to hear that Charlie has Calici Virus and hope he will start to improve very soon.
Your home grown strawberries look very tasty - hope your plants keep giving you more fruit.
Take care
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
That's a lot of strawberries! You must be a much better gardener than me.
So sorry about Charlie's virus! I hope they have what he needs to get him well again!
Oh poor Charlie! I hope the treatment isn't too bad.
Your starwberries look great!!
Now I'll have that song Ride Like The Wind in my head today. Good thing I like it! I'd like to see what Charlie writes. It has to be better than what my monkey comes up with.
Oh yeah, yummy strawberries! We are so sorry the test result came back positive. :-( i hope it can be treated.
I'm glad Charlie is feeling better but also sad he has a virus. Take care. Your strawberries look delicious.
I'm sorry that Charlie has a virus. :( I hope he's treated soon.
I love strawberries. I never thought about getting a potted strawberry plant.
Poor Charlie...
Get him to feel better, absolutely.
I'd love some strawberries too. Might buy some at the organic shop nearby...
Take care!
This is a great post! The food looks amazing.

cool strawberries
Hope Charlie will soon be free and clear of the nasty bug.
I'm sorry to hear that Charlie has the calicivirus! I hope he has a mild form that isn't too serious. It says stress to a minimum...i think you and Charlie are good at that! Give Charlie a hug from me!!
I hope you enjoyed your berries!
My strawberries are finished for now but I usually get a second crop in September when it cools down again.
Yum to those strawberries. The picture made me hungry.
So sorry about Charlie's diagnosis. I don't know about that disease. Really hope the vet can help you and wonderful Charlie out. He needs to keep writing with that hind foot!
Beautiful strawberries. I'm sorry to hear about the virus. Good luck with everything. Charlie is lucky to have you.
Great harvest. Must be all the rain, eh? Good to see Charlie chillin' and you're being so productive, too.
Hi Kitty, I love that brand of honey too. And, guess what, I've just made gooseberry jam with goosegogs from the garden. We think alike. Charlie is so clever writing your stories. Bet it's a cat-astrophic tale....xxx
Those look like good strawberries!
I'm glad to hear Charlie's acting like himself. :) Hope he continues to be all right!
Hooray for writing like the wind.
Charlie probably does a better job avoid typos than I do. :)
Your strawberries look so yummy. I've never had honey with strawberry but sounds good - I'll try next time.
I hope Charlie gets better soon. Glad he is feeling himself.
Charlie darling, please be alright. Please don't be sick. Xoxoxox
Charlie, it's all about the quality of life dude, and you sure know how to enjoy living!
Glad Charlie is feeling better. Hope the vet can come up with a good plan for help with the calico virus.
Enjoy your writing! xxxx
My kids favorite time of year is when we get to pick strawberries from the garden. Your berries look great.
I've always wanted to grow my own strawberries! And blueberries too, since I love them so much! You've totally just inspired me to do so. :)
Feel better Charlie!!
Lovely batch of strawberries!
I've never heard of that virus? I hope he'll be okay. I had a cat who was diagnosed with feline leukemia. I was heartbroken. She lived another 10 or 11 years with no sign of cancer.
So sorry to hear about Charlie! I don't know anything about that virus - but I hope he's not in a lot of pain. I'll be sending good wishes your way. *hugs*
Those strawberries sure look yummy. What a great green thumb you have.
We're sorry to learn about Charlie's health issue. (I wasn't aware of that virus.)
Yum, those strawberries look delish!
I'm really sorry to hear about the latest development with Charlie, but it's good to see he's back to his normal self in the meantime.
Sure glad Charlie is feeling so much better but sure sorry to hear that he tested positive. Hopefully they can do something to help him not get a full blown episode of the virus. Maybe give him vitamins or something to boost his immune system. We sure are sending tons of purrs to ya Charlie and glad to hear that Mom is writing like crazy. That is great.Take care.
I'm glad Charlie is feeling good now, but so sorry he tested positive for the virus. I hope they give him the treatment he needs so he stays well.
How cool that you're growing your own strawberries! Yay for you, Old Kitty!
Do keep writing like the wind. Since I haven't been blogging lately, I've missed some of Charlie's trials. As others have said, I do hope the doctors can help him! Jen always sends prayers his way.
It's great to be at least halfway back. I've missed seeing familiar faces like yours and esp. your upbeat truly original comments. Hope the summer is being good to you. Hugs from me and Jen!!

Your strawberries look fantastic, mine were the size of an eraser on a pencil!! They did taste good but it would take a gazillion to make a serving!
Hope Charlie is back to himself and feeling chipper!
I haven't heard of that virus... I hope it's something that can be dealt with.
Poor Charlie! But he looks great and feels good so that's OK. Love your berries...
We hope Charlie will be better soon! Being sick is no fun.
And yum, those strawberries... we had strawberries growing here, but then the blueberries took over.
ooo! Strawberries, yum! It's very odd us posting on different days like this. I'm not sure Wednesday's working for me... I feel behind all the time. But I'm glad Charlie's himself again, and I hope he can live with this virus. Happy Writing! I'm revising like the wind, myself~ <3
My mother took my daughter strawberry picking last weekend, and they made delicious strawberry jam. Aren't strawberries just beautiful :-)?
Good to see you Charlie.
You can live with that little fellow... just makes you even more special.

Yay! Strawberries, Charlie's feeling better and you're writing! Great stuff.
Hugs to Charlie.
Fresh strawberries are the best, aren't they? So glad to hear Charlie's feeling better, though we're sorry to hear about the calici diagnosis. We know cats who are living just fine with it, though. :)
Glad he's feeling better. Enjoy those strawberries! (there's nothing like food from your own garden!)
So glad Charlie is doing better. Looks like he wants to be a writer too. And what beautiful looking strawberries! I've never been able to grow them so well.
Happy Thursday, OC! I hope you and Charlie are doing well. Have a great weekend, my friend!
Our strawberries are doing great right now. There's nothing like picking one off the bush and eating it.
I didn't realize Charlie was an author too.
I chose to believe he will live a long a fruitful life.
The strawberries look great. I am glad that Charlie is more like himself again.
Mmm... Those strawberries look great. I can't remember the last time I had fresh strawberries from a garden.
Hmmmm, what is that Charlie has? I have never heard of it! I hope he is OK.
We have fresh strawberries too and they are delicious!
Happy Friday!

I would love to have strawberries in my yard. Charlie I hope that you are all healed and feeling much better.
xo the twins.
Strawberries are Glogirly's FAVE. I don't see the appeal...unless I can bat it around on the floor. It makes a cool red color on her rug, yet she doesn't approve.
; ) Katie
Nothing like fresh strawberries says dad, but he says they'd be better dipped in melted chocolate!!
Pallitive care? WHAT?! Is there no cure for Cali virus then? HUG for you.
Coucou c'est moi, Luna!!!!
wow how wonderful, my mammy is strawberry addict! LOL Really it's a delicious fruit!
Hey Charlie, you are doing great job helping mammy there, I love your picture! So sorry about the calici virus, I'm sending love to your heart, be positive.

Sorry to hear about Charlie's diagnosis. Glad he is doing so well and hope there is some sort of treatment that will keep him that way.
Hugs to you both!
Hello...It is good to be back visiting your blog again! I love that Charlie tries to help you blog with his foot because my cats do similar things while I'm typing! Cats just can't stand to be far away from their owners, that's what I say!
