See y'all in December!

p.s lovely Madeleine is having a Cool as a Cucumber Turn a Cliche into Something wonderful blogfest! Now I normally run away from blogfests but this sounds like "something up my street"! LOL! Details here:

Hey Charlie, I'll join you...make mine a double please!

I'd love to attempt the Cool as a Cucumber poem -- maybe I'll have time to get something in under the deadline.
You've got so much more Christmas spirit than I have! I should try to be more festive this year and drop my Bah Humbug snarliness that's getting a little too ingrained for me.

There is NO WAY I can enter the feminist fiction contest after reading your fabulous entry. I mean, really, showing up the rest of us like that!

Glass ceiling beware. I'm going to have that in the back of my head all day.

I'm looking forward to the next holiday break. You'd think I'd be satisfied with my four-day Thanksgiving weekend, but I'm already dreaming of more time off.

Hi, Charlie!

Love Charlie. He has such great taste!

Looking forward to December too.

I don't think I qualify as a paid-up feminist, but I liked this one.

Yes I think I'm looking forward to December now - one more frantic week and then things will calm down ever so slightly and I can think about Christmas and get some lovely twinkly lights up! xx

(((((hugs)))) to you and Charlie! Enjoy the season!

Can't wait for Christmas to arrive! I need a vacation :)
Thank you for sharing these interesting links. Charlie had better not have too much cattuccino or he'll be up all night ;)

RoySr said...

Yes. More posts from you and Charlie. In years past Christmas has NOT been a good time for me, well the whole fall and winter bit hasn't. This year it seems to be brightening up.

Hope I can keep up with all of you this season.

All I want for Christmas is for all my Friends and their little one to have the best of the season and be very happy!

That is enough for this old Bird.

Susan Fields said...

I'm glad you're more in the Christmas spirit than I am! I'll get there, though - once we get the tree up I'm sure I'll be singing Christmas carols all over the place. :)

I'll take some of that cattuccino with an extra sprinkle of nip as long as it's nonfat and low in calories. Gotta get ready for those holiday meals.

Hope Charlie enjoys his cattuccino.

I am sooo looking forward to December and the holidays too! Love this time of the year. Work parties don't seem to happen here...not sure if that is a good or bad thing...the jury is still out on that one! LOL!

Will have to pop over and sample your blogfest entry!

Old Kitty, if you're going to be in Canada in mid-December, please drop by! You can help us decorate the tree.

Love your entry!

Hart Johnson said...

Love your Haiku! Very well done! Will be interesting to see the cliche entries. Sometimes they really CAN be divine, used in surprising ways.

December is a great month with all the fun and festivities. And a great time to try a cattuccino with extra nip--yea Charlie!
Hope December is everything that you hope for! : )

December arrives here in Virginia USA tomorrow morning. It's evening now. Jen's puttering around in her wheelchair. It's dark outside. I'm here also to thank you for that lovely review of my Ozark Memory story !!!

Mookychick. What a delicious title for a competition. And your poem is delicious too with all those alliterative Bs. Then those hissing S's. Then the sudden surprising twist, another B word --beware. If I were a judge, I'd be impressed/I AM impressed!!

Jen says you and Charlie have a great December!!!

Your entry is excellent, and I loved the cattuccino! Hee-hee! Charlie is adorable. Or since we're talking cliches, should I call him the cat's meow? ;)

Yes, December will be fun!

NOW, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Jilda and I watched the film Holiday with Kate Winslet. Part of it was filmed in Surrey England.
