Bloggie friends!
My work colleague was relating how one evening, she told her five year old she was happy at losing a bit of weight, only for her son to point at her belly and say, “But you still got a big tummy, mummy!”
Talk about being brought back down to earth by little people!
Charlie says: I think I hear next door preparing my snacks.
Here's to a truthful Thursday!

Yet another reason why we have no little people in our house!
Yikes!! Kids do have a way of cutting to the heart of the matter - and not always in the way we'd like :)
WOW.....from the mouths of babes comes the truth. Not always the truth we want to hear.

Out of the mouths of babes!
Hope you are having a great week. I have not blogged in several days but have been trying to visit some of my bloggy friends..loved Charlies picture.
Whew...I'm glad I don't have a little one to judge my tummy! It might not be a pleasant conversation. :(
At what age to children learn to stop telling the truth?
LOL. Children always tell it how it is!
Here's to a tactful Thursday instead!
ROFL! Awh bless! Off to make a snack too :O)
Out of the mouths of babes. Charlie, that is such a good picture of you. You need to hurry over to the neighbors to get those treats.
I think I can leave a comment now (Blogger problem).
"Out of the mouth of babes" is what I had wanted to write. And that I hope she told her son it was all his fault, thus giving him fodder for future therapy sessions.
Why do children tell the truth when you don't want them to?
Charlie hurry and get your snacks before someone noms them for you.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
That is a great picture Charlie!!! But you always look mighty fine. Hey, kids do say some funny things some times!
Charlie's no dummy. He probably sees a catnip pie cooling in the window sill.
Kids always see it truer than we do.
Truthful Thursday is right! That poor lady going to the trouble to lose weight & then have that happen! I guess he's her weight loss coach!
Charlie must have very nice neighbors if they give him snacks! :)
Oooo, Charlie, it looks like you've got a really good vantage point for when those neighbors put out the treats.
Nice profile, Charlie!
Out of the mouth of Babes. Unfortunately. Have a wonderful Thursday.
Children are brutally honest! My youngest tells me things all the time I'd really rather not hear. I guess tact is something that comes with age. :)
so close, and yet so far... Kids so crack me up!
Out of the mouths of babes indeed. I hope the neighbours gave you snacks.. Hugs GJ x
Haha! You can always rely on kids to give it to you straight!
Happy Thursday to you and Charlie!
LOL.
It can be a bit surprising to find out what other people see. :P
Ah! Sweet honesty! (hope he grows out of it!)

Did Charlie ever get his snacks?
xoxoxo
Children... are like this, a little cruel sometimes! Hehehe!
Charlie: good meal!!
Yeah buddy, little kids will give it to ya straight, whether you want it or not! Think I'm going next door, too :))
that is so funny. My mommies human bean once said "Mommy, you're not fat, you're fluffy". He's grown now and doesn't remember it, but mommy smiles every time she thinks of it.

Almost forgot - I need to send you your prize but you've not replied to my emails or comments about it. I can send an Amazon e-voucher to your email but I'm worried it will get lost. Please let me know what you want to do. Your prize is waiting for you!
Kids really do tell it as it is....bless 'em!
Thanks so much for dropping by, have a great weekend!
Once my son called my mom-so-fat. He's still embarrassed by that but I thought it was funny. He had a friend named Matt whose nickname was Matt-so-fat, thus the confusion LOL.
And I have MISSED you guys!!! sigh. silly blogger~ <3 scratches,
Ouch! Double ouch!
That. is. awful.
Once, when my daughter was about three, we went to my aunt and uncle's house. While we ate dinner, she turned to my uncle and said, "Don't talk with your mouth full."
