Delusions of grandeur

Bloggie friends!!!

I started writing a blog post about my sweet elderly neighbour but then the post grew into a proper story!

So forgive me please and understand the writer in me cos I seriously did think “Gosh darn it, this is far too good for a blog post – no I can’t share , I won’t, don’t make me but when it's published, then I'll share, oh yes I will!"

LOL!

Who says blogging isn’t inspirational?!?! Who says I’m not a paranoid selfish delusional crazy person?!?! :-)

Charlie says: I just lay here and wait for next door to call.

Have a fabulous mid-week, everyone!

More power to you, Kitty. And Charlie looks bemused by it all. Say, has Blogger snatched your folllowers like it has mine? Roland

Inspiration is one of those things you can find almost anywhere! Glad you found some today!

Oh, that is so wonderful that it turned into a "proper" story. You SHOULD save it for publication. I know it will deserve that, more than a blog post.

And I'm SO glad you're excited to read my memoir. It's difficult sometimes to believe this is all happening. I have to pinch myself. Well, I'd better stop that or I'll be bruised from head to toe.

I'm looking forward to your reaction, whatever it might be. Seriously!

Jen gives you and me both a High Five!

I know exactly how you feel because it seems that if I write too lengthy of a post the less comments I receive. Maybe it is my imagination and everyone is reading the long posts but not commenting. Anyway, I'd love to read about your neighbor either via blog or in a published book!

I don't blame you. I try to keep my posts short but I notice when I write longer it becomes a story, although I don't ever intend that.
Good for you. Can hardly wait to read the published story.

I think it's very cool that a simple blog post turned into something more. I hope we can read it at some point!

Not paranoid, delusional or selfish, but perhaps a bit of a tease. Oh well, gives me more to look forward too. Let us know when it is out. :)

Congrats on getting inspired to write a story instead of a blog post!

Glad to see it's another sunny day for Charlie.

A blog post that turns into a short story -or even a book, perhaps? That sounds wonderful to me! Get your inspiration where ever it comes from and follow the muse!
