I was able to wear a SKIRT and SANDALS to work!
AND show off my pedicured feet!
The heatwave is BACK in the UK!! Yay!

How wonderful! Jen says YAY! right back, and so do I. We've had some warm days, and also a lot of rain, spinoff of the tornado that wreaked havoc in the Midwest USA. But we needed the rain (not the tornado). Thank goodness it barely missed us.

We are back in snow boots, winter coats and wool hats. In the throes of a winter storm with a predicted 6 inches of snow over the next 24 hours. Wish I was there instead of here!!!!

It has been wet and hot alternately and it is driving me crazy. Rains in the afternoon, then heats build up and the whole house turns into a sauna!

I'm looking forward to this weekend so I'll have chance to enjoy the sun.
Yay for pedicures! I love them. It's still not warm enough for me to go sockless. I tend to wear jeans most of the time. It's a rare sunny day that gets me in a frock and sandals. Charlie does look full of ideas. :O)

Mum agrees with you Jenn - she says how nice to leave sweaters and boots in the cupboard - just hope it lasts over the weekend too she worried cos the weather lady gave a good report so that's usually when it pours!!

Hooray for warm weather! I'm so jealous. It's in the 40's here and I'm still in my winter coat and shoes!
And just in time for the Bank Holiday too!! It's rare, but wonderful, for the British weather to get it so right :-)
FUN! The weather in france has been nice too but I haven't yanked out the skirts and sandals quite yet.

The colder weather is creeping in here in Oz. But I love writing in winter. I set myself up on the comfy couch with a thick blanket. Yum
Sandals?! You're so lucky! I keep up with my pedicure all year, but hardly anyone has seen it for MONTHS! Today was in the '50s and overcast. Our time will come. Eventually.
I love Charlie outside + the one in the future post where he's resting. Such a photogenic kitty!
