I got my innoculation against measles, mumps and rubella (MMR ) last week as we’ve had an outbreak of measles where I work.
My doctor warned that 1 in 6 people may get a high fever after 7 -10 days.
Guess what’s happening to me now? LOL! I have never been one to beat the odds!
So while I sleep and sweat through this fever, here’s Charlie to entertain y’all!
Oh ok, maybe not! LOL!
I’ve written off catching up with y’all yesterday – but I hope to catch up today, if not tomorrow!!!!

It's tough to keep up when you're sick or have to go away. I have to be away one weekend and I don't know how I'll get it all in...... Charlie's always entertaining. Sweet get well dreams and a big turkish towel.

I hope you feel better soon! I thought most of us were inoculated as kids and that once was enough. Maybe it's different in the UK, though, re: child vaccinations?

Poor you, I hope you feel better soon. I hate vaccinations even though they are necessary, I am always wary of them and fear the side affects.

Injections always send me to bed. It takes me ages to recover from them.
Urgh! I hated that shot! I most recently had to get one when I started grad school as they figure all those hot young bodies is such close proximity are a breeding ground for germs... Sorry about the fever and hope your arm isn't too sore!

I am so sorry you were the 1 in 6. Not fair!
You need to have a good long time with no sicknesses now. The weather has warmed, so you shouldn't be stuck battling colds and such.
