Diggin some Diggles

I was most creative over the weekend bloggie friends!

Not with words though – but with an egg, some flour, a little butter, a bit of sugar and lots of blueberries!

Et voila!

Blueberry Diggles!! LOL! (From Phil Vickery’s Favourite Foods cookbook)

I over-baked them just a tad though - but they were still moist and soft and yummy!

Yes they were!

Charlie says: I’m in the cat house.

The heatwave is over!! Here comes April Showers!

I've never heard of "diggles" before. They look like a cross between a scone and a bun, or something similar. At least to my untrained eye! Bet they were delicious!

Charlie, your cat house rocks!

Hey, as for heat waves, we hit about 17 or 18C today. Yay! But back down to normal temps again. Boo!

Those look tasty! :)

Glad to hear the heatwave's over! A recent spell of warm weather broke last night here--it was nice to have some cool rain.

Also, thank you for all the comments on my A-Z Challenge posts! I'm trying to keep up with everyone, but it's harder these days.

Being of Polish, Russian and German decent, and originally from Pa Dutch area, means I can make a 5 course meal with butter, flour, sugar, and an extra ingredient or two. I love it.

Those look yummy. Now I think I'll have to make some Dutch Apie Cake with cranberries and white choc. chips.
