A Very Important Distraction

Bloggie friends!!

I’ve just received another of my short stories back from my very unusual critique person – my line manager.

Yep, my boss reads my stories and tells me like it is!!

So as I peruse through his pencil marks and question marks and lots of smiley faces (when he likes something he draws a smiley face!), please be distracted by Larry – the most recent and most important new member of the Prime Minister’s cabinet at 10 Downing Street.

Or go here if this doesn't play or read the story here.

Charlie says: Larry gets my other Evil Eye

I hope to get to all your yummy blogs if not today then tomorrow!

aww Larry is beautiful. I love the tabby and white colouring. I read the books based on Battersea Cats and Dogs. Lovely stories.

Hi there...

We guess that you must get a very positive critique from that person ;)

All the best!

I read the story. How wonderful for Larry, and for 10 Downing Street!!

And it's also awesome that you have such a great critiquer. We need someone to tell it like it is so we know what needs fixing!

Larry has 3 Twitter accounts and he is a cabinet member for the prime minister? Wow! He sure is a busy guy! How does he keep up with all of the fame and glory? Does Charlie stop by to help every now and then?

Thanks for wishing Daisy well! She had quite the traumatic day today! She had the bone removed and she is resting now!

I think charlie might be jealous that Larry is getting the lime light.

Good luck on your revisions

How cool your line manager reads your pieces. My husband won't even read mine. Maybe he'd read yours instead?

Hope you're having a happy week!

Hooray for Larry! I hope he's very happy in his new home.

How neat that your boss not only reads your stories but even leaves you smiley faces!

Great that you have a boss that gives good feedback. Loved the peice about Larry. I'll have to follow him on twitter. How funny. We have a dog in the White House of course, but I think there are allergy issues, so what can you do?

How exciting is that! That's GREAT news! :)

You must be thrilled by your manager's comments! I'm so happy for you.

Is Larry a resident alien or actually the Prime Minster's cat? Or perhaps he's there to promote the Big Cat Society? LOL.

Yay for Larry! He'll make a lot more sense than the rest of the cabinet.

We read about Larry in our local newspaper! He's a handsome guy!

We wondered if Charlie would be visiting Larry today but perhaps it is a bit early in his duties at no. 10 to skive off for an hour or two!! What a good line manager you have to give you smiley faces.

Oh, I just love it. Larry has three Twitter accounts. We sure hope that Larry works out. Glad they like cats at #10. Great video. Take care and have a great day Charlie. You are looking good too.

We enjoyed the video about Larry.....and enjoyed even more that he had been a stray. Bless EVERYONE that takes in strays.

Charlie and OK, we love both of you......what a handsome pic of you, Charlie.

Hooray for Larry, now we know who will be in charge!

Old Kitty,
so my first question is; did he like your story? that's first and foremost what I want to know, the other stuff can be changed.
and by the way, I certainly hope He tells me I done good, I try hard! :)

Oh, that's great that you have a boss willing to make smiley faces--especially a male boss--that seems very unusual!

I don't know, Old Kitty, if I'd depend too much on Charlie for his "evil eye"! Looks to us like he's sleeping through the good parts!

Great news to hear your story is moving along through channels of smiley faces and all.

Thanks for stopping by Kittens 'n Things.
