I read your previous post about your story being in the anthology! Awesome!! Jen and I are so proud of you!!! I've bookmarked the site so I'll have it at my fingertips when the book is out. There are so many ways in which we can help others. Sometimes it may not seem like much, but when you get enough links in the chain....well, miracles can happen!!

I wish it were weekend already. I also wish I could see the green grass like in your pick instead of snow, LOL

Have a wonderful day!

That reminds me that spring is really just around the corner. Thanks.

Ours look a bit like that too. And don't ask about the hanging baskets!

I have a black thumb... :P
Thought I'd say that.

Congratulations on getting your story published! Brilliant news. It looks like you have good help there with the re-potting!

We have a man and his son who do our garden for an hour every week - I'm just not up to it these days. They do a grand job and we've got lots of crocuses coming up now.

Our indoor pots are a different story.

Awh, I'm sure they'll look lovely come the BIG day! :O)

I didn't do it, they were fine when I left them there! Tell her Charlie!!!

It looks like a big job to re-plant those pots! Thankfully Charlie looks like he's ready to help!

All I can think is never mind the pots, look at that lovely GREEN grass! *Sigh*

Your pots look a bit like mine did last week but since it has been nice and quite sunny the bulbs which I thought were dead after the severe frosts have come though and a few crocus have flowers on already.

I didn't get to tell you yesterday how much I always pull for you with your writing. We just see little snippets on the blog and I'm so looking forward to reading something longer. Congratulations and I continually send you love and peace.
P.S. Put a little catnip in a pot for Charlie.

We think Charlie is looking over the situation so he will be able to do a "cracker-jack" job of snoopervising in April.

We love the two of you.

Oh, that's good of you to commit to gardening acts. You can make up for the lack of skill in some of us who prefer sitting in bathtubs and basements... I don't feel too guilty at the moment though. The ground is covered with more than a foot of snow.

And if you could just pop round and sort ours out too ...

Me-thinks Charlie and his friends played, Destroy All Plants!" Then they give you that, look at the plants ... what happened look. Cat, I tell you are always up to something.

As usual we are behind - congrats on getting into the Anthology! That is so cool!

And don't feel bad about the pots - mine look worse then that (most are broken now) and honestly I gave up on making them better a couple years ago - so you are way ahead of me!!

Catching up from yesterday! Congrats! Yeah!

Let's pot something pretty!

Weekend? I wish! Your flower pots are looking a lot better than mine! My flower pots are still buried in snow. No April planting for me. BooHoo!

Rene said...

Those plants look deaded, Charlie. However, we are still envious that you can still see your pots. Ours are buried under snowbanks now.

Talk about plants ... I've managed to revive one of my "almost-dead" ginseng root bonsai-sort of plant!!!!

Hehehe

We are looking forward to see pretty flowers soon!!

Poor plants! No wonder Charlie looks so perplexed. :)

I've finally managed to kill off the bamboo that's slowly been dying over the past two years...

Why Charlie I see you are taking care of those pots for your Mom!

It has been extremely cold this year and my plants have died. Oh well, I guess I replant next year.

I'm sorry I missed the big announcement in your last post, but let me say "Congratulations!!!" a day late! Hooray for you - what awesome news!

Old Kitty,
Thanks so much for the kind words of get well...I see Miss Angel-Kitty did a find job while I was away. She certainly has much to say; typical Southern Belle :)

You know regarding pots...I seem to have such gusto as the season begins but as the season goes on and it gets hot and no rain, well, my enthusiasm wanes...so I'm with Charlie; tut-tut!

Theresa Milstein said...

Oh, look at those sad winter plants. But spring is just around the corner. It's hard to believe - when I woke up my house was freezing because the temperature outside was 16 degrees. Let me look that up. -9 to you!

It’s always the weekend here – that’s why we potter about potting and re-potting as if we’re quite potty.

All the best, Boonie

I can't wait to garden! In fact, I could today! It's almost 60 here--but I don't feel like it! What a hypocrite I am!

Creepy Query Girl said...

Just one more day till the weekend! I gotta get started on my gardening too. Everythign is dead and overgrown.

Chris Phillips said...

That looks like a big job.

Marg said...

That is funny since our pots look just like yours. Little sticks sticking up and nothing else. It is almost time for things to start popping out. Take care and Charlie keep your eyes on those pots.

Carolina M. Valdez Schneider said...

Ah, your grass is so green there! Ours is still covered with inches of ice and even more inches of snow! I wish I could replant my pots! Have fun with it!

Lynda R Young as Elle Cardy said...

All my pots look like yours. In fact the entire garden looks like those pots.
