Daft pot of daffs

Bloggie friends!

I share with you, the latest pic of my crazy over-crowded pot of daffodils - along with a viola or two – each one of them singing:

“Spring is just round the corner, hang on in there!!!!”

Charlie says: If I stretch longer, next door will see me for sure!

Happy last Day of February!

A visit to your blog always brings a smile to my face. It looks very sunny there. We have snow outside but robins are coming back so spring is right around the corner. I always love the last day of February! And the last day of March (March is too windy for my taste)

Look at your flowers about to bloom.

My dad just had 11'' of snow in Maine. We drove back, and had a few inches in Cambridge. No flowers yet here!

Have a great week.

I miss spring flowers. Hyacinths are my favourite or maybe tulips. A field of tulips or a pot of hyacinths.

I'm impressed with your pot of daffs. I am reading a novel with a character called Viola. Hugs to Charlie :O)

Daffodils up and almost in bloom + green grass = Spring in our books! No need to wait for her, obviously she's arrived! :-)

Oh such lovely flowers and a sure sign of Spring! We're still covered in snow here, so it's wonderful to see!

Green grass, sunshine and flowers! You are so lucky. We still have snow here in upstate NY. But your pictures give me hope that soon it will be spring. Enjoy! Say "hi" to Charlie for me. *Hugs*

Well "Old Kitty", you've got quite the green thumb there. Gorgeous posies!

And Charlie...looks like you're putting your paw in there, too.

"The Boys" and I hope you're having a great Monday.

We are glad February is over - it has seemed a cold month (although not snowy thankfully) and we are happy the nights are lighter.
Charlie - is there a pretty ladycat next door cos you seem to like going there (or do they give you more noms??).
Hope you have a good day Jenn.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

I'm so jealous of the green around you! Our daffodils are still well buried at the moment. It's cold and awful here. But hopefully Spring truly is around the corner.

*waves at Charlie*

Spring is sprung! We have crocuses and snowdrops and daffodil leaves - it must be spring! We even had a morningful of sunshine yesterday. Yay!

Do you know when I read this post first I substitued viola for vodka. Oh, dear. Do you think I need a drink?

You carry on stretching, Charlie. You might reach the moon!

Rene said...

Ooo, we are jealous! We are far away from seeing any green.

Look we both have daffodils. It is so much fun when they come up. Charlie, you be careful. Makes us nervous when you are out around all the cars. Glad Spring is springing at your house. Have a super week.

Oh Kitty,
I bet those daffodils will be gorgeous when they bloom! Our neighbors flowers have bloomed but they already need to be dead-headed; isn't that amazing?
Today we are expecting storms and by the wind, it won't be long...I intend to hold on for dear life!

We love the signs of Spring.....we're not sure what our season is here.....our air conditioner is running most days now, so that's a good sign that summer is upon us...or almost upon us.

Violas!!!!!!!! That's our grandma's name.....(mama's mama.)

Another mighty fine picture of you, handsome Charlie....we love you and OK.

Our snow is finally melting (though we always have March and April snows)--still, hopefully the big ones are gone. I am jealous though, that it's been nice enough there for flowers.

Charlie you are such a cutie! And boy do we need that reminder of Spring coming here - today everything was coated in a nice sheet of ice!

Ah, Spring! My favorite time of the year when all good things seem possible. I think that your pot looks great. Those daffodils are going to be spectacular. Can't wait to see them bloom.

P.S. What attracts Charlie to "next door"? Is it just feline curiosity?

Talli Roland said...

Happy almost March! Gosh, I so can't wait for spring. Love the daffs!

They’ll look beautiful when they are all in bloom. I can’t believe tomorrow is already the first day of March! I bet Charlie is ready for Spring, too.

Oh how you make me long for spring! But, we still have snow and it will be awhile here. :o) I'll just enjoy the thought of flowers instead.
